One of the best spots to either learn or enjoy a good SUP-TOUR. The Sunrise Tour was the best decision we took during our stay in Bacalar. Everyone was welcoming and very supportive. They care about the environment and strive from it. Make sure to give them a visit when going to Bacalar.

We spent some time shopping around Bacalar for the way of sailing around the lagoon, both in terms of experience and value. After speaking to a number of people and a few WhatsApp exchanges we located AdventureLabs. Based out of The Yak Hostel, they offered a fair price (600 pesos) for a c. 3 hour sailboat tour around the lagoon. The tour itself was great. We sailed on an 11 person catamaran, with Juan at the helm and Alejandro as our guide taking us past the open water cenotes and Bird Island. Both Alejandro and Juan were charming and insightful, the tour included two drinks plus a snack and the three hours fly by; before we knew it the sun was setting and we were sailing back across the lagoon. I would recommend the tour via-à-vis other boats on account of both our hosts and the sailing experience.

A few weeks ago we did the boat tour on the Bacalar lagoon (I think it was with Luiz and Eddar?!). The tour was wonderful - the guides gave us great information and were super nice and funny. And the lagoon itself is super beautiful. So many different shades of blue. Highly recommend it!

I highly recommend booking with Adventure Lab we had a really a great time. My son who is 7 was allowed to sit on the board with my husband for free. Alejandro gave us good instructions and told us a lot of interesting facts about the lagoon and above all it was an amazing experience to see the sunrise from our boards.

Yesterday we went for a group Catamaran Sailing Tour with Victor and his crew. It was a very nice tour, discovering the Bacalar lake and everything it has to offer. Despite a little bad weather, we enjoyed swimming in the warm water of the lake. Learning about the environment, animals, plants and Cenotes. Victor knew a lot about it and spoke perfect English. Would definitely recommend it to others. Price was good and you event get a 10% discount if you stay in the Yak Lakehouse.

Had a great experience doing the stand up paddle on the Bacalar lagoon for the sunrise! Was so much fun and instructors (Alonso, Luis and Matias) were very committed! They explained us everything very well and took good care of us ☀️ I recommend that activity for sure! Totally worth the experience!
