I think it took 40 mins for our drinks to arrive (iced tea and iced coffee), then I guess it was about another 40 mins for my food to arrive, my friend's starter arrived about 40 minutes after that, and his main course about 30 mins later. The place is not large (maybe 20 capacity) so I've no idea how they managed to spend an hour and twenty minutes making A CHEESE TOASTIE. You heard it, the "tapas" was essentially just a piece of toasted bread with small slices of salami and bad cheese on it. I could go to the store, buy all the ingredients, come back, cook this, have a nice long nap, and get it out quicker than this kitchen did - and I would feel better about it cause it wouldn't have cost me 100 pesos. The drinks were bad, the food was bad, the service was abismal. I will never be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a nice and friendly little cafe/bar. I attended a language exchange and enjoyed a cold cerveza while babbling away. The plaza is full of tourist restaurants and this place is one of the more enjoyable ones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three stars is for the food, as it is a restaurant. Had one of the baked potatoes which was fine, but quite bland and uninteresting. I had to put on quite a mix of salsas to make it worth eating.
The service and ambience get ***** stars. You will be better served to go upstairs, get a simple drink and spend some time reading or hanging out.

It is a great location with plenty of open space, both inside and out, with a couple of seats overlooking the plaza below where I sat and enjoyed the view. I had some very good sangria and several pintxos that were delicious, including a great vegetarian option. I also had an excellent mezcal, the tobala. I wish I had more time in Guanajuato to return here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The vegetarian burger was excellent with a mushroom patty and tasty vegetables while the side of potatoes were excellent and a good sized portion. We also tried the Babaganoush which was outstanding. The fruit flan for dessert was light and not too sweet with fresh berries. Highly recommend. Also great service from Sergio and good value for money.
