Beginning

After a couple of trips renting online luxury rental homes, we soon realized that not all is as it appears. Total lack of standardization can leave the luxury traveller in a precarious place with no guarantees and immense disappointment. In 2017 (and still to this day), we noticed a minefield of agencies with unchecked standards, little to no inspection and inexperienced on-the-ground service. Therefore, we made it a personal goal to represent a luxury portfolio we can put our names behind.

So, with a team of trained curators (design or hotel housekeeping background), we set out to find interesting properties that offered more than just a vacation. Selecting some beloved destinations, we are fully committed to continuing to expand an excellent portfolio of beautiful homes that have been fully inspected and approved, rejecting homes as necessary. With the support and love of a fully dedicated, multicultural team, working from all around the globe, we are making that portfolio available online to clients directly and also working closely with our B2B partners. Villa specialists match our homes to the client’s needs and then a fabulous group of local Tripwix Ambassadors that we like to think of as our ‘’friends of friends” take care of all the on-the-ground needs for each guest.
