AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Way overpriced. Small portion. I got the seafood platter for two. The best tasting thing was the mashed potato. Do not come here. Shrimp - tiny Fish - no flavor Octopus - rubbery AF Mussel - looked dry Tortilla chips - dry Bread - hard as a rock

Insanely overpriced, very small portions because “gourmet?”. Note to bartender margaritas don’t have seltzer ;). Even though it was empty in order to get help had to stand up and look for them. One dish (the tuna) tasted very good, the other left much to be desired given the price and reviews. Brought me wrong change... twice

Delicious seafood and excellent service. Rolando was our server and he was very accommodating and explained the dishes in detail to us considering our Spanish isn’t the best. They were cash only so keep that in mind. But it’s worth every penny!

Complete disappointment. Walked by this place after failing to get a table at El Cafecito, I was hungry so I decided to sit down and give their breakfast menu a try. Firstly, the servers did not seem to be willing to accept more customers even though the restaurant was half empty. They gave a look at the people waiting outside and simply walked away! It even happened several times after I sat down. The service was slow. It took me three tries to finally get my orders in. I ordered an assorted omelette that was 180 pesos, and some side dishes. When they finally brought my food after god know how long I had been waiting, it was such a let-down. And obviously overpriced! The portion is very small for the price you pay. The taste is standard, way below what I would call delicious. It was the first meal I had after not having eaten anything the night before due to travel complications. I probably would’ve chosen to starve myself had I known better about this place.

Alejandro continues to be a must-visit restaurant in Puerto Escondido, year after year. Why? Consistent attention to ingredients and quality, and innovative cuisine. Gracias, amigo

Nice vibe with lots of outdoor seating. Menu of the day on the blackboard was what we picked and was not disappointed! Unfortunately they don’t take credit cards?

Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given. Have no clue why this restaurant has 4.3 stars but I can assure you, this place is incredible. Had their special tuna dish and the presentation was perfect along with the taste. Restaurant was so clean and the staff was great. Highly recommend
