I had the good fortune of dealing with Carmen & Daniel. These two were as professional and honest as you can imagine. Did not push you to buy the expensive watch, but rather the watch that fit your life style. I'm from Toronto, and this was my first Rolex, and i can tell you from pricing to selection, from honesty to integrity, i received more than i imagined from these two. Keep up the good work. The next luxury time piece will definitely come from you!!

Very disappointing dealing with this company, they let you believe you can get something, get your hopes up and then it’s all lies everything there goes to insiders don’t waste your time enjoy the beach instead

It was a pleasure doing business with Carmen. SAFETY WARNING: there is a lot of theft targeting tourists in Playa del Carmen. Unfortunately our locked car was broken into shortly after our purchase. Best to go to your hotel directly and store it in the safe, make sure your hotel has security cameras. Careful with surroundings, if you’re being watched or followed, some thieves work in teams. Before making a purchase, please review your credit card theft protection policy. Some Chase cards cover only $500, some Amex cover $10k, Citi excludes watches. Check your homeowners and rental insurance coverage. The staff here was very helpful to get us a copy of our receipt to file an insurance claim.

I was hoping to pick up a new, several thousand USD watch during my trip. Upon my arrival at the Xcaret resort on 4/14/22 I sent an email inquiring on the availability of Rolex, Patek, JLC, and VC pieces. To date I have received no reply to that email. Late in the day on 4/15/22, having not heard anything back to my initial inquiry, I called and spoke with a male representative of the store and inquired again regarding Rolex, Patek, and JLC. The representative informed me they had no Rolex in stock and that Patek was only available in a different boutique. He went on to say that Rolex was reserved for existing clients and that any allocation was an intra-store battle between salespeople to sell those pieces to those existing clients. He then indicated he would look into the JLC piece I inquired about as well as would look into if any Rolex was available elsewhere or if any hadn't been claimed and call me or text me back. To date I have received no text or call back from the gentleman I spoke with. In the afternoon of 4/16/22 I called again to inquire about a JLC Master Control Chronograph Calendar in rose gold and a Panerai Marina Quaranta as well as regarding any Rolex availability. This salesperson again indicated there was no Rolex availability and only carried "exhibition only" pieces. I understand that anyone who wishes to purchase a Rolex or Patek has to visit a store in person to do so. Why should anyone visit this store if all they have are "exhibition only" pieces and all allocated pieces are reserved for existing clients? This business has a huge Rolex billboard advertising a rose gold GMT outside the airport in Cancun but no availability? The salesperson was ultimately able to look into the two pieces I was interested in and indicated he didn't have availability on the JLC but did have a Panerai. The impression I was left with was that the purpose of the billboard and carrying Rolex was to draw me into the store to sell anything else but Rolex. By this point, having had to contact the business three separate times and being told that the majority of pieces weren't available and getting the distinct impression my business didn't matter as a new client I decided to forego a trip off the resort to visit the store. I'm not going to beg or waste my time to do so. As of 12:30 pm today we're leaving Xcaret and going back home to the U.S. This was a significant business opportunity lost. One star is generous. Just another Rolex dealer with no stock shamelessly advertising a product is has no intention or ability to sell. The brand and dealers use the Rolex name to draw you in to sell you anything else but Rolex. I anticipate some canned response to my review will be forthcoming indicating this business actually cares about the negative review. Don’t be fooled, the email address it will provide is the same address I have yet to hear back from. Enjoy the beaches in Playa and don’t waste your precious vacation time with Ultrajewels.
