 I love this place, unique flavors and with local fish mix every day a different variety. Always enjoying a great artisanal mezcal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a pity we came here. It almost wrecked our night. Was made to feel very unwelcome by the head bar man who was rude and short with us. We were served overpriced, poor quality mezcal. Service as a whole was really poor and disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could leave zero stars I would. We felt incredibly unwelcome from the second we arrived. The gentleman with short dark hair (I think he was the manager) was incredibly rude to us from the moment we walked in. It seemed like he didn't want to serve us. Spoke negatively about us in Spanish (which we could understand) and when I asked if we could have some water for our 10 week old puppy he flat out said "no".
3 women came in after us and asked to be seated (there were plenty available) he flat out also said "no come back tomorrow". They also looked very upset and confused by his reaction. Mind you it was only 830pm and no reason to turn people away.
We've never felt so unwelcome anywhere in Mexico. Unfortunately it put a damper on our beautiful evening at the Japanese restaurant nearby (which we highly recommend). Go there instead and save yourself the walk to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had made a reservation for a dinner and mezcal tasting. When we messaged to confirm we simply stopped receiving responses. We then asked our hotel concierge to check in with the restaurant on our behalf and they informed her they didn't have space for us. Ridiculously unprofessional.. don't waste your time here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing mezcal and food. I went for drinks with friends and decided to stay for dinner. We were all blown away by the meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice mezcal bar. It can get a bit hot if seated outside the high chair area so grab a seat at the counter. Friendly staff. Nice mezcal tasting (3 for 300 mxn). They also offered dinner with advanced reservation. A 5-10 min walk on a dusty road from Hotel Escondido and Punta Pajaros.
