Varali Grand Hotel - 82017 Mazatlán

Hotel was real clean great staff.but the food was awful.paid for breakfast in advance terrible. Had a hamburger garbage.street below very noisy and other guests typically mexican noisy at all hours.would not stay there again

I stayed here for a week while attending business appointments. The staff were absolutely wonderful and did everything to accommodate me. This hotel is new in Mzt. Great value and service. It truly is the new best hotel on the malecon.

Great price for ocean view. Clean rooms...only one assistant available when I arrived, he never gave us wifi password. I had to go complain about it later. There was also some misunderstandings when leaving hotel, do to getting deposit back. But overall hotel was good.

I was ripped off. The booking website through which I made the reservation booked two rooms for the same night when I only needed one. I told the attendant at the front desk when I checked in and I requested that the other reservation be cancelled and to not charge me for both rooms when I only wanted one. I thought she confirmed my request. But apparently not, as my credit card was charged for two rooms. The booking website requested that Varali refund my money, but they refused. So I was charged double for one room. They ripped me off. Buyer beware.

Amazing view!! Loved the infinity pool over looking the ocean and entire malecon.. so close and convenient to everything .. will be staying here again! The price was perfect ?

I want to stress that the staff and personnel were very friendly and accommodating, and we had no issues with the staff at all. The reason we won't stay here again was that the rooms are not cleaned very well. We found something quite disgusting in the bed in the first room we stayed in ( I will spare you the horrible details) The staff accommodated us and switched our rooms. The second room had a clean bed, however had a terrible smell emitting from the restroom. Either the smell of the sewage or mildew. Thankfully we couldn't smell it from our beds at night, so we didn't bring it up and decided just to keep the room. The sink and mirrors were not cleaned everyday, which in itself is not a big deal, but it makes me wonder if the rest of the room is cleaned well. When we checked in to our second room, we found crumbs on the counters, and sand on the seat of the chair. I just took my clorox wipes and wiped down everything. The restaurant food was really good, and again, we loved the staff.

Beautiful new property, nice rooms, very clean, great bar and pool to watch sunset. Restaurant isn't so great so eat elsewhere. Also get the "lakeside" room instead of oceanfront if you want quiet. Oceanfront is also street front/ booming Pulmonia stereo systems front.

Good location, good place, not very expensive, good staff. The gym closes at 7pm! that is very early and the pool probably is not cleaned daily. out of my 4 visits, 3 were super clean and once I found hair floating from the previous day. I visit the minute it opens so it can't be from the current day. some rules like wearing caps or so in the pools should be a rule for patrons. I recommend the place for a good stay experience.
