Most fantastic place I have ever stayed ! It’s secluded with a fantastic Coconut Bar next door ! Staff has been great to me ! Meals prepared are very good ! This is on the other side of island , exactly what I was lookin for! If you want to relax , no kids, no waiting to be served or drunken tourist …well this is your spot ! Im here extending my stay and booking my next trip, I’ve been comin to Cozumel for over 35 years ! This is my new place !

The place is so secluded with limited food options. While the view is amazing, I wouldn’t stay here again without having a car. Only having AC at night in MEXICO is awful. The only relief from mid day heat is to swim in the tiny pool or head to the ocean. Trying to pack while drenched in sweat was not fun. There’s only a few beach loungers, less than 10 so if a group of friends snag them you’re out of luck. The jr suite is ok. My bathroom floor leaked my entire stay. Had to take allergy meds to tolerate the bedding and again, they cut the air off at 6am so you wake up early every morning already sweating.

The hotel is an off the grid facility which is located on a long clean beach. The rooms are basic yet spacious and the staff is friendly. I would like to thank them for shipping me the MacBook charger that I left in the room! See you soon!

The most disappointing hotel we went to in the whole of Mexico. Terrible value for money; incredibly overpriced with misleading marketing. The rooms are very dirty, poorly maintained, and old. I felt gross touching anything. Some of the light bulbs in the room didn't even work and they didn't bother to fix it when we informed them of the issue. Trash is all over the beach and in front of the rooms, poor WiFi, bad food, even the lighting around the pool feels cheap. On top of that, the whole place runs on an unsustainable generator. We regret staying at this hotel and discourage anyone from going there until they clean up their mess or charge a considerably lower price!

Wonderful! Extremely peaceful. This was my first visit and it will not be my last. I finally found a place where my mind and body could relax. I truly enjoyed the no frills atmosphere and the small environment. Especially during this time of Covid, it was the best possible place to enjoy without the fear of becoming ill. The staff were gracious and friendly. Omar, Juan, and Miguel were attentive to all of my needs and were always happy. Everything was clean and presented with style. The food was delicious and proportioned just right. I recommend this hotel 100% for all of those seeking a quiet and beautiful retreat.

We loved our stay here and didn't want to leave! The view from our room was stunning. Our dinners were delicious. We had so much fun playing on the beach and looking at the stars. The staff were very courteous. The hotel is remote and is run on a generator. We expected a simple, quiet, rustic, and beautiful stay and got exactly that.

Ventanas is a fantastic little property. Quiet, friendly, after a few days you feel like your are at home. Since there are only a minimum number of guests, you get a very personalized vacation. The view from the room is the best we've ever had. This side of the island is windy, but that helps keep the temp in the rooms fell lower. There was nothing better that falling asleep with the waves hitting the rocks, next to our balcony. Food was fantastic, and we met great couples from all around the world. The hotel is rustic, may need a few touch-ups but better functioning than an all- inclusive we stayed at after visiting Ventanas. If you want a fancy all-inclusive cookie cutter experience, Ventanas is not for you. No rude, drunk and demanding tourists, just piece and the ocean. Would go back for sure.

This hotel was quiet, rustic, and attracts the kind of people you want to be around. Respectful, polite, and also appreciative of peace and quiet. The dinner and breakfast were great, affordable, and the staff provide excellent service. Omar and Juan are especially attentive. Be sure to tip for services in cash at the end of your trip. The ocean view rooms provide literally the best view we've ever experienced. Lounging on semi private feeling beaches without crowds or excessive tourists is the best part of the property. This hotel does not have: 24 Air Conditioning- it only runs in the evenings to help you sleep as the whole property is self contained by diesel(?) generators. Fresh bathing water- showers and sink water are reclaimed and have a particular smell that takes some getting used to. Immaculate rooms- I meant it when I said "rustic." This place is old, family run, and a little worse for the wear. It adds to the charm except in the cases that the floors and surfaces are a bit tacky from sea air. Reliable electric plugs- charging devices or plugging things in causes crackles and pops that are pretty alarming but likely that they aren't grounded.
