I can honestly say, I had the most incredible week of my life at the Vidanta. I can’t say enough good things. The staff is so polite and accommodating. The place is immaculately kept/maintained. The food was absolutely delicious at every restaurant we ate at. Every detail of this place is well thought out and amazing. The resort is huge! Like it’s own little jungle town. As a cirque du soliel fan, Joya was a must!!!! So good. I am counting down the minutes until I get to go back!! The only draw back is the transportation can take a while sometimes especially if you have to transfer and take a second shuttle. If you’re okay with walking…it’s much quicker! (You can walk almost anywhere in the resort in like 10 - 15 minutes which was totally fine for us.)

I loved this resort so much. It was the best vacation ever. I have continued to go back every year and have a wonderful time each year. There is always something new to do and nothing ever gets old! I love this resort and highly recommend.

Stayed in the Maya Palace. Room had the right amount of privacy, forest and wildlife, loved it. The housekeeping staff was great. We had a good experience for the most part but had number of issues. We did not receive a clear explanation as to how to maneuver around the resort so we kind of wandered around and figured out the restaurants and hours of operations. Building’s Wi-Fi was not the best, I was not able to access menus. No paper menus. The concierge staff was great. Aaron was the best, I mentioned that we came to Mexico for my birthday. He sent me a dessert on my birthday that was very sweet of him. Due to the size of the properties, you will have to use the in house shuttle service to get around. Staff which handles the shuttles services is extremely lax. If you have any scheduled plans and/or events you will be late.

Paid $300 for 4 nights in a kitchen suite, definitely worth it if you can get that sort of deal. After check in we avoided the sales pitch (after reading so many bad reviews of the sales people) and had a great trip. The elevated wood walkways in the jungle are awesome, but be prepared to walk several miles a day or spend a LOT of time waiting for shuttles. On a day we didn't leave the resort, we walked about 7 miles just between the pool, room, and restaurants. We quickly gave up on shuttles after the first day. Food was good and priced about like American restaurants. Worth getting a room with a kitchen to make simple meals occasionally with stuff from the little grocery store on site. The wonderful pools make up for the very rocky/unswimmable beach full of seaweed.

Nice stay. Rooms are well kept and spacious. Property has wildlife, which is nice. Pathways make getting around east. Be careful... there are charges for everything around every corner. Frequent happy hours but the drinks are weak for what you're paying.

If you just wanna be in the hotel it is fine. Beach is horrible!!!!!! Lobby registration, and transportation are terrible, so be patient. Staff is is very friendly. Careful with sales people! It really doesn't worth the money. Pools are great. Overall, too expensive for the value that they gave us. If I can cancel my membership I would do it

Felt a bit second rate. The accommodations are good and we used it as part of a timeshare package we owned, so the price was reasonable. That said, getting anywhere was quite a hassle. Too far to walk and too long to wait for a shuttle to get around anywhere. This was especially annoying during the many rainy days we experienced. Had to do a house call with a doctor visit for sick infant and security would not let the doctor into the resort. Took almost an hour to get him approved for entry. Our key card would not work late at night and it took over an hour of back and forth to the front desk, and changing out key cards, before the issue was resolved. Thieves abound here!! Left a nice camera near our swim area and it was snatched in less than 10 minutes. Beware. The food is extremely expensive compared to options away from the resort. But you are fairly trapped here and they know it. Jungalaya was a ton of fun. Pricey but some very unique slides that made it quite memorable!

Great resort with great restaurants on site. Market with basic foods and beverages if you want to cook something in your room. Jade is an awesome boutique that has a great selection of clothing from reasonably priced too high end items. The main pool is huge with different swim-up bars and separate areas. The beach is nice to walk along but not good for swimming. The rooms at the Mayan Palace need updating... although their function of all their outdated. Getting around two different areas of the resort is very easy they have little golf cart trams running all the time. Overall it's a wonderful place to vacation and that's why I continue to go there!
