Villa Ladera and Casitas - 48390 Puerto Vallarta

We rented this lovely place for my 50th birthday, and 11 stayed here (we rented one of the casitas as well). It was so open and airy with easy access to the outdoor pool area from every room. We could all meet outside for meals without passing through shared spaces. It was perfect for a celebration during a pandemic. The space was decorated beautifully, and it was so close to the beach. The staff was absolutely wonderful and we miss them all! Chef, Hector, made the most delicious meals and margaritas! The staff took such good care to make sure we were happy the place was kept impeccably clean. I would definitely stay here again! I can’t say enough good things about my experience staying here.

An absolute 5 star experience at Villa Ladera and Casitas. The villa itself has the most beautiful open air concept, and each room has its own unique flare - with gorgeously tiled showers and comfortable king beds. The staff is incredible. Hector wow’d us with his incredible dishes every day - while Javier made sure everything and anything was taken care of. Maria had our room in immaculate condition by the time we returned back from the beach or pool. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’m already trying to plan when we can go back.

The house, rooms, grounds, and pool are fantastic. The staff, Hector, Cande and Javier, are absolutely wonderful! Nicest people in the world who only wanted us to have the best experience during our stay. Cannot give the people or place enough superlatives. If you choose this place for your stay you will not be disappointed. Instead, like us, you will be searching your calendar for dates to go back. Love Villa Ladera! Five Stars indeed!!!!!

We just returned from 8 nights at Villa Ladera with a large group of friends. The place was perfect for us. Each couple had a well-appointed private bedroom/bathroom, all of which opens onto a courtyard that leads out to the patio. (No-one has to share indoor airspace - perfect for the current pandemic time). The staff (Amazing Chef Hector, wonderful handyman and margarita-maker Javier, superb housekeeping) and concierge (Isela - who also arranged for our required COVID tests for US reentry) all added to a wonderful week away. The hill is a bit high; a few of us took taxis back from town (60 pesos) most of us walked. And because the Almar is across the street, there was nearly always a taxi outside the door for anyone who wanted one. But, of course, being high up has the advantage of a great view of the city and a sliver of the bay. We actually spent many evenings at “home” floating in the pool and chatting, rather than going out (what we usually do in PV) because it was so perfectly pleasant. We highly recommend for an adult or family getaway.

Such an amazing time in beautiful PV. Hector, Javier and Maria worked so hard to make it an amazing stay, the service was like staying in a hotel. Stairs just beside the house take you directly to the beach clubs or walk just a short bit down Calle Amapas to restaurants and shops. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at Casita Escondida. We spended 7 days with friends staying at Villa Ladera upstairs. Casita escondida is very private and it has its own mini swimming pool with heated watter, kitchen, terrace and own bathroom. It even has its own barbacue! However, we did not need to cook this time. It's location is amazing, just 5 minutes from Muertos beach where there are multiple beach clubs and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and it was all pefectly clean and tidy. I would recommend this place to relax and enjoy a great time in Puerto Vallarta.

We just spent 6 days at Villa Ladera and it was just fantastic! The house is centrally located, walking distance to everything. Each bedroom has its own en-suite and king size bed. Great space, fantastic views of Banderas Bay, great heated pool. The staff was absolutely amazing. Hector, our chef, Javier, our all-around man of the house, and Cande our housekeeper were so wonderful, catering to our every need. They couldn’t have been nicer, more helpful people. Being avid foodies and cooks, Hector even let us watch him make a few dishes. All in all, a fantastic week. We will definitely be back next year.

Spectacular is really the way to describe the experience at this wonderful Villa. Great location close to the beach should you want to leave the beautiful pool but an easy walk to everything in Old Town. The Villa is beautifully decorated with great detail in elegant Spanish style. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom, great for a group. From the moment of arrival, we were looked after by the great staff. I thought renting a home with a Chef was extravagant but I couldn’t be more wrong. What a delight to get up in the morning and have breakfast made for you and then the Chef Hector would go to the market and make you an amazing dinner. We truly saved money not having to eat out every night. Thanks for an amazing vacation, can’t wait to return!
