★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic peaceful oasis in the jungle. We stayed in a hut with two bedrooms and a living room/kitchen. There is a beautiful cenote-inspired pool and a restaurant. The owners and staff are extremely welcoming and the breakfast was excellent with a strong cappuccino. The beach is a 5-minute drive away

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site is beautiful but be careful to not run into the giant spider webs. The pool is really calm and beautiful. The bungalows are wonderfully built and designed. The owners are great. Breakfast was full of fresh fruit, fresh juice, and yogurt and was delicious! Dinner was great too (extra).
We had a couple complaints. The shower drained really slowly so you end up standing in water. Of course no A/C. The beds are really hard so we didn't get the best sleep which is mostly what we needed. We did have a scorpion in the room but the owner says it wasn't poisonous.
It's a great place, just realize it's not like a normal hotel and not like a resort. The road sign said glamping on it and I think that fits. It's a bit rustic bit also very beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, this was by far the most beautiful place i've slept during my traveling in Mexico (on our budget). The swimming pool was stunning and at night, with all the lights on, it looked like paradise. It was unbelievable (according to the price). the owner was a incredibly nice. The breakfast was pretty nice as well: a big plate of fresh fruits, fresh juice, yoghurt and granola and avocado toast. You have a kitchen so I recommend you: just cook at home and enjoy dinner on your terrace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem. Every detail is made with so much love and the owners are very friendly and helpfull. This stay was one of our nicest hotel experiences. And last but not least the Italian dinner and also the breakfast was amazing. We hope to come back one day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. Villa Morena is the dream. There are not enough words that explain how perfect it is. Vanessa and her moyher are the perfect hosts. All of the staff are just incredible. The whole resort is just divine. The cenote pool is clean and dreamy. The cabana is beautiful and well thought out, with a kitchen area that has a stove, sink, pots and pans. The breakfast is the best we've had in Mexico (well done on the pastries, they were mouth watering) the fresh juice was my children's favourite. Highly recommend dinner there, hopefully youre lucky enough to get pizza night, best pizza ever. Oh! And try the mexicana pasta, had it twice it was so good. Loved the dogs and cats wandering, it felt like a home from home. The area is remote but not too remote. Thank you so much for having us. Myself and the kids absolutely loved every minute.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location to stay when you are looking for something different to a huge hotel. Laying in the middle of the jungle, it is a bit remote, but with taxis, a rental car or even the provided bikes it is easy to get around. The family running this B&B is amazing. Vanessa and her family used to run a restaurant in Italy and they help you with whatever problem or question you have. The food they offer for dinner and breakfast is delicious and always freshly prepared, and furthermore, it is way cheaper than everything we got nearby. Fully recommended and I will come back for sure.
