About Villa Santa Barbara
Having worked in the service industry all of her life, she and her partner created a beautiful space that guests can enjoy a vacation of a lifetime. Barb, along with the Villa staff is committed to making that happen.
RIP Barry, We will continue fulfilling your dream to educate qualifying students in our community.
Even though she is usually taking care of guests’ needs, Barb does occasionally sneak off into her on-site art studio to create the beautiful paintings that don the walls of Villa Santa Barbara. She is also available for art lessons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice quaint place with only a few suites. It feels very homie and the pool is great on hot days. We loved seeing the fishermen passing in the canals and the variety of birds here is incredible. There's easy access to town by foot, on a bike ride (bikes provided by the villa), or on a water taxi, that picks you up at the villa dock.
We'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a magical place to call home for a week in the beautiful town of Barra de Navidad. My husband and I stayed in the Junior Suite and we enjoyed it very much. Each suite had everything that you need for a comfortable stay. From the king sized bed, to double sinks, to a kitchenette! Keep in mind that this suite is infant of the pool area so if you are looking for more privacy I would recommend the penthouse suite or the Premier Suite. Barb was the best host, answering all of our questions and was even able to order us some fresh fish and prawns from a local fisherman. At our request she also booked us massages where the ladies came to our suite. Each morning there is a French baker who boats up to the dock on the canal and we enjoyed fresh coffee and croissants, what a cool experience!! A
The villa is located close to the downtown area and is easily walkable from your front door. Barb even had bikes available for rent which we will use next time to explore even more. If that isn't your thing, no worries because the water taxi's can be called
and will pick you up right from the dock at the canal and take you downtown.
We had a wonderful time and will be back again and again.

We love the property it was extremely clean, relaxing and beautiful!! I spent hours in the pool floating with a cocktail! Perfect in every way!! My husband went out fishing with a local guide 3 times, I took a surf lesson and we enjoyed local restaurants and bands!! We will definitely be back! Tena and Scott
