Nice Jungle Resort....spent 4 days there and loved the place. Very clean, very friendly people...would use again in the future.

I cannot recommend VillaTortugas highly enough! The couple who owns the property have an easy-going and kind demeanor. They were always checking in to see if we were comfortable during our stay and were well accommodated with food, daily cleaning of the room and free water. We had a kitchenette a triple bedroom and airconditioning with a fan for a very good price! Also there was lots of wildlife which made for a chorus of birdsong in the mornings. You're a short colectivo bus ride from the downtown super market to get food, and its wonderful to take a break out by the beach; to enjoy the sun and snorkel with the sea turtles. What a magical experience! Thank you villa tortugas.

This place was awesome. Beautifully located, with nice pool. We have medium bungalow with beds. Small kitchen bht fully equipped (toaster, coffe machine, lots of fresh watet, breakfast waiting in fridge, juice and cuttlery).

Great Place, warm welcome, clean Rooms and very very romantic ! Excellent breakfast and dinner Offers ! A quiet place in the Jungle to Relax ! You can feel the nature and the Harmony. The Owners are very friendly and help in all matters.....

My partner and I landed in Cancun and drove right away to Villa Tortugas in Akumal, where we spent the first 3 nights of our Mexican trip. The place is very near Akumal (5 min by car), and lies at the end of a dirt road just off the highway, surrounded by trees and vegetations. Our villa had a double bed and plenty of space to leave our backpags, a decent bathroom with powerful (hot and cold) shower. WI-FI is good enough to browse the Internet, and the car park outside of the Villa is free. There’s a shared swimming pool and dining area, both surrounded by trees and nature and perfect places to chill and mingle with other travellers. Good breakfast is served every morning, ranging from pancakes to toasted bread, jam, tortilla, fruit, coffee and teas. Really great vibe, we loved out stay and met lots of lovely people. During our stay we met the manager Miguel, a nice guy from Spain who’s lived in Mexico for a long time and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to do.
