★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice secluded place in a very different but quiet neighborhood. The property itself is a group of cabins with 2 pools. Had a poor wifi signal in the very last cabin but otherwise flawless. Also be sure to lock the deadbolt cuz the knob isn't designed to be secure. Very helpful hosts and will be returning someday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed staying here: nice pool, large cabaña-style room, all in pleasant gardens. Quiet. Pet-friendly. Pizza place & seafood restaurant nearby; 10 minutes north of downtown Chetumal. Walmart is 5 minutes away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the room and were told our card would not be charged before we arrived. It was.
Our confirmation letter said the pet fee was $130 pesos. We were charged $175 pesos even showing them the confirmation letter stating $130 pesos. This on top of the fact that the confirmation letter said they would match prices with other hotels.
The room was advertised with a kitchenette. Not only did it not have a kitchenette, but there was a sign threatening a $100 peso fine if we ate in the room. Breakfast was also advertised, and was provided in the form of a cracker.
The sheets were stained, and one had a hole in it.
The wifi did not reach the room.
While we checked out the girl at the desk was on her cell phone. She had to check the room before she could give us our $200 peso pet deposit back (separate from the $175 pet fee that was supposed to be $130). She did not put her cell phone down at any point. She literally walked off to check the room while chatting away on her phone.
We were told to park in a gated area. Once we checked out no was available to open the gate and allow us to leave.
Google maps has the location incorrect, and the hotel itself uses google maps to get people to their location. Go ahead, check their website and hit street view. The hotel is not behind that wall.
According to their website they have a 99.9% satisfaction rate and 100% of guests would stay again. I'm amazed that their customer base has had such low expectations to date.
If you have any sort of expectation....I would avoid this place to keep from experiencing disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and comfortable, pet friendly. Old school hotel. Rules and regulations everywhere no food or alcohol allowed unless you buy in their small shop. Limited hot water, slow Internet, non functional Jacuzzi. Overall value for money. Would not come back return
