Good price. Rooms are clean. Fan only in my room. Bring ear plugs any place near square is loud. Near lots of food in walking distance. Bring money ATM runs out often.

Great location. Very friendly staff. But shower and toilet need to be fixed. I also found a scorpion in a room. Which is not frequent but possible encounter in Yucatan. My point is: be careful.

The rooms dont look like in the photos, they are dirtier or older. The sheets are not the ones shown but rather some flimsy ones. The air contidioner didnt work, and when it did it didnt cool properly. We found a few bugs in the room as well after it was "cleaned". I do not recommend this place as a family place, but rather as a hostel, far more economic and lower quality experience. The personal working are either gone all day, or they barely treat with you, evading conversations or vaguely responding. Would not return.

Mosquito paradise inside room. Screens had holes and gaps on side of screen. See my attached photos showing gaps and holes. Indoors = outdoors. Super thin walls. Can hear every small sound on street and noise / talking from other units. Bed super uncomfortable. This is a camping-like experience with an extremely uncomfortable matress. Headboard disconnected from bed so each move you make in bed wobbles headboard and hits wall. I had to wedge a towel between headboard and wall to stop the noise. Staff ignored / forgot my extra pillow request upon booking. So when I noticed my room didn’t have the pillows I originally requested they said it was a lot of work, the pillows were far, it wasn’t so easy to bring more pillows and then asked for money if I could give them a tip to bring the pillows. Overall I was fooled by their photos. Their photos make the hotel look like a modern nice place. It isn’t. It is old & outdated and cheaply built. Way overpriced for what you get. I wished I stayed longer in Cancun or Tulum. Isla holbox is really just a miserable place with muddy roads, dusty & dirty. Substandard food. Overall, isla holbox sucks. From what I heard the only time to visit when water is clear june-august. If you visit outside of these months expect murky water, no manatees, no flamingos and a lot of wind and choppy water. Miserable. Also, the whole process of visiting isla holbox is horrible too. The port town where you take ferry from has dusty roads and looks like a construction site. The taxis (golf carts) on isla holbox have a rule (scam) going where they only allow 2 people per cart. So if you are 3 people you need to hire 2 carts.

Beautiful place to stay in Holbox. There are rooms and glamping options for staying, wifi was pretty good. Staff is very friendly and had us covered for an awesome weekend. They have a jungle gym to exercise early, you can then take a bike to go around city for a quick breakfast and then come back to take a paddle board or kayak. We had some spectacular sunsets and enjoyed at night a quick tour to see the bioluminescent plankton in a part of the island, very interesting! Will definitely come back!

We booked the studio and had an amazing stay. The beach is literally 2 mins walk and villa is walking distance to the center. Nacho was a great staff, highly recommend.
