Villas Tiburon by The Beach - 77310 Isla Holbox

Can't even think of any better spot in Holbox, it's indeed AMAZING. Please please, don't complain about Wifi or internet in Holbox, it's a thing in the WHOLE ISLAND, not in this hotel only. The service at the hotel was unbelievably amazing. There's a lady in the reception named Maria, she's the calmest person I've met in life. She talks VERY calmly, and super super helpful person, thanks a lot for the great service there!!! The rooftop pool is amazing and the bar there is really nice and offers delicious cocktails, magical sunset view, at cheap prices! The beach in front of the hotel is the best I've ever seen (Thailand whott?!?), and the bar there serves very good food (check the fish tacos) and drinks at relatively ok-ish prices (beer = 2 euros). Btw, always remember "propina" is optional, and you can say NO, which I had to do so everywhere in Mexico including this bar, but i'll put that in a review for the bar directly (it's separate business from the hotel). AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING, I'D COME AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Great location, great staff, big rooms with a mini-fridge! Nicely updated bathrooms. I'd definitely stay here again. They do not provide shampoo and conditioner, only small bar soap. They were a couple of plumbing issues (the toilet wouldn't flush at the beginning and the end of our trip).

I have stayed here twice and I am gong back this coming January. I LOVE THIS PLACE so much. It is a paradise. The staff and the location is perfect. Just a short walk into town and far enough away to be away from the night life. The Mosquito Bar is attached to the hotel and they will be the people that bring you happiness when you are sitting on the beach enjoying all things paradise. You are required to have a wristband so outside guests don't take over the beach. It is nice when you can call a little slice of heaven yours. I have never stayed in any other place on Holbox because I love going back and seeing the same Amazing staff and visit with Valto and Riza. :)

Location is great but do not book if you want a good nights sleep. From a terrible mattress to the malfunctioning bathroom and late night music, it’s hard to relax here.

Awesome spot! The beach that it has in front is equally as awesome! Came here with my family and we all had a great stay! Only grip would be wifi and cell service are very spotty.

Beautiful grounds and convenient location right on the beach! About a 15/20 minute walk to downtown. The rooms were average though, the wifi and cell service were nonexistent, and the music from the bar was bumping all day

As long as you don’t stay in Standard rooms, it’s a heaven! First night arrived and had to stay in our standard room (so called junior suite) which is way too small and literally no room to move around. But the staff helped us getting an upgrade to a sea view room which we of course had to pay the difference for. Super beautiful place with an awesome beach and great staff! Great value for what you get!
