Se llega por carretera pavimentada hasta el poblado de Raíces, de aquí parte un camino de terraceria hasta el Valle de los venados, cobran $50 por estacionamiento, aquí encontrarás restaurantes, sanitarios y venta de ropa de invierno. Se puede llegar al cráter en auto solo de martes a domingo. Los fines de semana se accede por medio de transporte público $50 pesos por persona, en unos 25 minutos. Se recomienda tomar el transporte si quieres cuidar tu unidad ya que en algunos tramos está en malas condiciones la terraceria. En el albergue hay sanitarios $10 pesos. El paisaje del cráter es maravilloso con las lagunas del sol y de la luna, si te toca con nieve es aún más espectacular. El lugar es muy seguro y super recomendable. A unique experience. It is reached by paved road to the town of Raíces, from here a dirt road starts to the Valley of the deer, they charge $50 for parking, here you will find restaurants, restrooms and winter clothing for sale. The crater can be reached by car only from Tuesday to Sunday. On weekends it is accessed by public transportation $50 pesos per person, in about 25 minutes. The landscape of the crater is wonderful with the lagoons of the sun and the moon, if you get snow it is even more spectacular. The place is very safe and highly recommended.
