Walmart - 77500 Cancún

Went to Walmart to find a case for my GoPro. The selection was very limited as well as miss organized with items everywhere. The employees were VERY RUDE. One of them I said something to immediately said no English I responded saying no problem an used my translator where he waved his little finger an bobbed his head an said no an kept walking... when I told him to tell me his name he said Miguel.. clear as day he understood me... the lack of respect is unreal. I’m sorry you don’t like your job but get over yourself... No one was in the electronics department. Every time you stopped an employee they said they were busy, didn’t work in that department or would get someone to help an just continued doing what ever they were doing. No one there speaks English or wants to do their job an help you. To the point I was getting so frustrated I was filling up shopping carts with items and leaving it creating them work!!!! I went to customer service where not long after there was 3 other groups of people there with the same horrible customer service issues an no one in the electronics section issues.. after getting a manager who spoke English I made sure to go threw all of my issues. They have a Limited selection on almost everything and no one knows where anything is. I also couldn’t find a travel size container so I ended up getting a urine sample container to put my body wash in. The prices are also extremely high sunscreen being over $10 my sunscreen also ending up ringing the wrong price at 219mxn. Probably hoping you don’t notice! They also don’t have bags an didn’t even ask if I wanted to buy one till after. I’m not going to recharge my card a dollar for a bag!!!

Was my first time in walmart, liked the place with much products wish to have more time to see more items. Grocery variety was nice. Before going to any souvenir store, go to check the souvenirs section in walmart, i got ribbed off by scammers and overpriced shops in marketo 28 and nearby touristic attractions. I just didn't like the Electronic section which have less options. It deserve a visit.

Great walmart with bunch of variety and at great prices specially converting to USD. Clean as well. Avoid the folks trying to sell you tours though. They'll tell you with your receipt you get 50% off of tours but not worth it. Otherwise great store with helpful staff

It’s ok. I bought a roasted chicken and the plastic container they use is a cheap version that fell apart on the way home creating a big mess. But the store is nice and well stocked.

A fairly large Walmart with a limited amount of variety of stock. Prices are fair and the amount of employees seems a bit excessive at times and when you ask for something they didn't seem to know all the products they carry. I asked for spices in Spanish, they told me to go to the produce. I found a small section with a whopping 3 different dry spices...

For those waiting to see the same standards find in North America, the store will let you down. Truth to be told, Walmart has everything you need if you’re looking for groceries and even beyond that—I saw motorcycles for sale in one of the sections. Definitely a cross cultural experience to see.

The small mexican restaurant beside McDonald's was fantastic

One of the largest Walmart's in Cancun. Everything from groceries, toys, clothes and household items. Also has a great cafe supplied by Walmart or several fast food places such as McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Staff were very helpful including helping tourists who don't know Spanish.
