★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They lied about picking up other guests. Our flight was @1:50pm and they picked us up super early@10:10am. The guy told us that they need to pick up 3 other guests after us which is a lie because the driver went straight to the airport. We ended up waiting in the airport for almost 3 hrs. It only takes 20 mins from our hotel to the airport. I learned my lesson. Next time I will not choose Yamevi Travel for my transfer. I booked this transfer through Viator

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have booked a transfer form CUN airport to PDC area. They sent a WhatsApp the day before with instructions and when arriving in CUN it was exactly as described. The driver, Abel, was amazing and super friendly! He gave me a lot of tips for the area. He called my host at the destination because I didn’t have a Mexican SIM card and even waited with me until my host picked me up. 5 star service! Can only recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you for the wonderful service. Though my flight was a bit delayed, the driver waited for me and took me to my hotel safely. It was a shared van and luckily i was the only passenger from the airport? Will surely book again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I had a better review for you guys but save yourself the headache and DO NOT BOOK. UNSAFE. UNSANITARY. BAD DRIVING. ACCIDENT PRONE. UNPROFESSIONAL DRIVERS. UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF. UNPROFESSIONAL INTERACTIONS. I thought because I paid for an upgrade, I would be able to get better treatment but I was wrong. My friends and I are STUCK in Cancun. Lol. We will make the best of it, but save yourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a private transfer from Cancun airport booked with this company. The person coming to pick me up was 15 minutes late. After finding him, I was, made to wait an additional 30 minutes until I was in a car. There was no explanation or apology for this.
The car itself was very clean and the ride pleasant.
Overall, I should have taken a taxi, as a lot of professional registered services were available and waiting at the airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viator refunded us fully and and this tour company did eventually pay for our taxi - but I still felt the need to share this experience because I think people need to know what to expect from employees at this company. We booked Yamevi for shuttle transportation to our hotel for 8 of us. They never messaged us, texted us or gave us any former communication on the day before we arrived or morning of. When we boarded our flight to Cancun I messaged them directly myself via Viator and the tour operator responded that the driver will be there.
We arrive in Cancun and exit and are waiting and no shuttle. There was a yemevi representative standing outside but he wasn’t even holding a sign nor was he trying to find anyone. Anyways he told us the shuttle was in terminal 4 which is where the rest of my family was waiting. We messaged our family there and they said their Yemevi rep told them that the shuttle was in terminal 3 (which is where we were). We also had family in terminal 2 (we all came from different countries) and their Yemevi rep informed them that their shuttle was in terminal 4. None of the reps could speak english (which we specifically requested to prevent communication issues of course). We kept asking about the shuttle every half hour and our rep told us the shuttle was stuck in traffic between terminals (which was a complete lie). Long story short, my family and I lost three hours standing outside Cancun airport waiting for this shuttle.
What bothered me most was the fact that they were consistently lying, over and over to us. Our rep told us there was “traffic between terminals”, my family in terminal 3 after yelling at their Yemevi rep and informing them they were taking a taxi were told that the taxi they requested was “being cleaned”. What’s crazy was even after two hours they decided to ditch the transport and take the loss and just book a cab and the Yemevi rep would walk up to any cab rep that they would speak to and tell them to not give them a ride in Spanish. It was absolutely ridiculous. This entire time, there was no shuttle ready and they were delaying us. Also; there were multiple other parties booked with Yemevi who also waited an hour+ at the airport. In the end, after a literal confrontation, they paid for us to take a cab. But that doesn’t buy back the 4 hours we lost at the airport with time wasted. We landed at 11 AM and got to our hotel at 4 Pm which is absolutely crazy. I fly to Cancun every year and have never had this issue with any previous transports booked.
I will never tolerate dishonesty and backhanded behavior - if you don’t have the shuttle or it’s running late, just own up to it and communicate. But to lie to all of us and keep us waiting AND prevent us from getting our own transportation? Yeah, that’s a 1 star. Think twice before you book this airport shuttle, because that cheap price definitely isn’t worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Landed in Cancun with a 3 hour delay, beyond our control and no phone availability on the plane to confirm. Full flight details were given before with the booking, to be told that the transfer now wasn't going to happen as we have been on the ground for 3 hours, which is complete lies!
We are now stranded at the airport with no way of getting to our hotel.
Booked via Hoppa and will never, ever trust them again!
What is the point in giving flight information for them to completely disregard live flight arrival information and then have the audacity to lie about it, leaving a family of 4 with 2 young children stranded.
Disgusting!
