A	Alex on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible quality of service and disrespectful to employees, customers, and everyone around. Blown out speakers blasting the same few songs over. And over. And over. Decibel level was measured at 75 dB INSIDE a neighbouring building at 2 am. Do not support this place.

We stayed across the street for vacation and were met with terrible quality of sleep due to 76-80 decibel level of sound from inside our apartment with all windows and doors shut. They are rude and refuse to turn music down.

This place, in combination with other noisy venues- but much more so this place- caused us to lose sleep. At 3:00 am, we measured the music in our room (mind you, it would be much louder in the street) at 75 db, breaking the barely-enforced noise ordinance by 10 db. It was for this reason we refused to patronize the location. This went on for a full week until we left. We had no way to realistically complain, as is we had gone there in person in may have been dangerous with the alcohol consumption, and the police complaint number is not working. Inconsiderate business. Avoid, and avoid the area if you’re staying there.

I have been here every this week dancing manly salsa with live music (5-7 musicians every night) They start around 9pm and play until 1am. Place for 4-5 couples and lovely service. Can only recommend for every salsa dancer in the town.
T	Tyler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The other reviews hold true. This place has no respect for the noise ordinance. I'm in a condo across the street and can't hear my own TV and its midnight on a Sunday. And I'm only up this late because its too loud to sleep. Crazy this is acceptable.
D	David Gauci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used to stay at the Hotel Riviera del Sol when in Playa del Carmen but after our last stay, we will not stay there again. These inconsiderate business owners have destroyed the area with their over the top music volumes. They went from 7pm to almost 3 am with the worst band I have ever heard. They were out of tune, off time and sucked. To add insult to injury, the place was empty. A few of the staff sat around with the music cranked at 11 for hours afterward while a cop leaned on the outside table staring at his phone for an hour. I feel so badly for the hotels in the area. Read their reviews and the complaints about this place are in almost every review. I’m shocked the city hasn’t dealt with this. We will now stay well away from this area. So sad.
