★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been eating here for years. It’s the closest restaurant to the marina and my favorite sushi I’ve had in Mexico. Johns simple recipes don’t mask the flavor of the fresh fish, and I’m pleased to say I will be going there for many years to come. The service is always excellent and he’s always been accommodating to my special dietary needs. Gluten free soy sauce is hard to find in Mexico !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went 3 times during our stay in La Cruz. The seating is outdoors, the menu is simple, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff/owners go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. But, most noteworthy is the food! So good and fresh, really well done. We recommend the shrimp fried rice and the breaded roll, the Hawaiian roll and the pastor roll. Don't leave La Cruz without trying this little gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You really should put on web site only open in high season! ..after reading reviews I brought my large group to have sushi...unfortunately restaurant is closed, when on trip adviser says open till 9pm..VERY DISSAPOINTED! Would have loved to leave a great review, but saying open when closed is unacceptable ? 9/29/2022

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So happy to have wandered upon this restaurant. The food was creative and fantastic. The tuna was fresh! Never frozen! The couple running the restaurant were very pleasant and a pleasure to speak with. Don't be in a rush when you order, they take the time to create a 5 star meal for you. I tried the Fireball with seafood. Spool good. I would definitely go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty place. The outdoor seating on the neighborhood street under green lanterns has chill music playing for a nice lounge vibe. Service is pleasant and quick as this is a lovely small business.
The seared yellowfin tuna was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. The rolls' flavors may have been a bit bland but that may have been my selection? I'd recommend trying it out if having an urge for sushi. Jorge Roll was my favorite (not a cream cheese fan) this roll was tasty and spicy.
