ZARA - 77710 Playa del Carmen

My wife didn't have a mask, so we were not admitted and did not shop here. It was the only store with this policy.

Zara is Zara, always neat dresses and cool gear for fun times.

I think I walked past that place...forced labor and anti Palestinian rhetoric...They could not pay me enough to show there. One of the creepiest brands on the market.

For a vacation home Zara was just what I needed. Trendy and good quality. I tried other stores in the area such as Liverpool and Plaza Las Americas and the selections were tacky. And prices are very reasonable. We're the trip.

CREDITCARD USERS BE CAREFULL!!! I went to the Zara in Playa del Carmen on May 10 (14:07 PM). I wanted to pay with cash but the Zara employee told that only creditcard was possible. Not a fan of paying with creditcard but fine. During the checkout with my creditcard I had to wait 20 minutes for the credit card system to work! The system then indicated that the payment had been made. I was glad that we could move on. However, the Zara employee indicated that the payment wasn't successful. Understandable, thought this was strange so I looked at my bank app to check whether anything had been charged. This also turned out to be the case, to which I showed this to the Zara employee the bank app. It was clear that the payment has been done. To my surprise he didn't believed it so he tried to convince me that this wasn't right as this was supposed to be a 'reservation'. And he said the payment will undo itself in a couple of days! It was his word against mine. I found the way of customer service pretty bad considering the customer remains king?! Especially at a firm as Zara. I was absolutely not allowed to get any money back and it was impossible to get the clothes that I had paid for. He gave me a 'receipt' to show that there has been NO payment from my side (attached in the appendix). I took his word in good faith. It is now a week later and to my surprise and the moment I was afraid for has happened: the amount has simply been debited!!! This means that money has been wrongfully taken from me during my visit at the Zara of Playa del Carmen. The receipt wasn't legitimate at, you can call that scamming if you like. In general I am satisfied with the Zara with this is a big disappointment.
