My partner and I travelled to Cancun from the uk. When looking at car rentals around the airport we felt very uneasy as the reviews were filled with horror stories. We had almost resigned ourselves to paying a lot of money up front and still having to pay the “extra charges” that everyone appeared to get stung with. Then we found the mobile number for Air car rental (also the same number for another rental firm - one chap owns both, this confused us at first but it’s absolutely fine). Organising over WhatsApp felt a bit odd at first, but it was great - the replies were almost instant. The communication was clear and concise. We asked questions about the mandatory insurance charges - but these were all included in the total cost. Car was perfect. Service was great. Prices are a lot cheaper than the big companies. 100% recommend. Thank you! You made a stressful part of our holiday very easy and put a smile on our faces!!

We were beyond impressed with this business, from the timely pick up at the airport to the drop off at the airport. Our driver was extremely helpful, insightful and informative. We had great conversations in English and with my broken Spanish it was a fun experience. The car was awesomely clean and serviced. Gased up ready to go, with a walk around showing any minor scratches and where the spare and jack was as well as paperwork. He was thurough, polite and timely. Definitely recommend.

Our car rental experience with Emilio was amazing. We paid a down payment with PayPal through the WhatsApp. I gotta admit I was a little nervous about how this was going to work out. Thankfully we took a chance! He picked us up from the airport and took us to the car rental place. We signed paperwork and were off to our vacation. We returned the car at the end of the week and he brought us back to the airport. Smooth and easy! We didn’t have to wait in an hour long line to get a rental or pay a cab to get to and from the airport to the car rental. We will definitely rent from him again when we return next January.

I would rent here again. It was affordable and the service was very good. It was a good car as well with no issues. The only thing I would recommend is to let travelers know that there may be extra feeds if their flight is delayed as the man asked me to pay some extra money because my flight was delayed and he had to stay late which I was not aware of through our WhatsApp messages.

Easiest experience with a rental car company that we have ever had in Cancun. They picked us up at the terminal and put us in a good car within 15 minutes of getting our bags. Easy return. All for one price with insurance and taxes included. Highly recommended.
