Excellent service at the beach club here. Jesus went above and beyond to make us happy. Definitely recommend red snapper which u get here by weight, simply amazing. presentation, service and hospitality is great here

I have never experienced such a horrible food poisoning in my life. We ordered burger, fries, brownie and a pizza. It costed us more than one day?? And music at the beach club is such a nightmare. So loud and non stop !!! No chance to read something, talk with someone or just relax.

From a location standpoint this place is centrally located and easy to get to all the hot spots. Wifi was below subpar and it would sometimes take 45 mins to even send a text message. Don't count on getting any business work done. But who goes in vacation to work anyways? People were very nice. There is parking across the street if you end up renting scooter, which I highly recommend to save on taxi price gouging & gridlock traffic.

Expensive as hell. Great place but you need to be wealthy. Be careful when paying they like to add lots of stuff that you didn’t have or change the prices on the fly. It’s not everywhere but be aware. If you can come away from the beach into Tulum town to get better treatment overall. But hey then there is no beach….

A whole bunch of us got really sick the morning after the wedding. It has taken a week to recover. I would never go back to Akiin. The location was good, restrooms are very sketchy. Barman wasn't friendly at all. Servers were great.

Place is just okay the food and drinks are very expensive. The staff wasn't very attentive and we had to try hard to flag a server down. The servers always seemed in a bad mood. If I wasn't staying at a airbnb on the property I wouldn't have stopped at this beach club. Day beds were dirty and we had to ask multiple times for towels and still received none. The first day the music was extremely loud to the point I couldn't even have a conversation. If you stay in one of the rooms here, make sure to bring ear plugs. The club next door plays bass bumping wall rattling music till 2 am. The cleaning staff pretty much just made our bed and that's it, we had to ask for fresh towels after 3 days of realizing they weren't replaced. Our first day checking in the floor was very sandy and a melted chocolate wrapper was stuck to the floor. Make sure to have the net secured around the bed as two roaches got in our bed and one crawled up my spine. Also our toilet didnt have a toilet seat. I did give it a star for location and the beach was perfect with no seaweed at all.

Bougie for your buck. DJ on point. Staff is attentive. Although the beach was not the best with all the seaweed and wind it was chill. Drinks were good. Food was excellent. Great place to mingle with friends. I caught this place on a windy/cloudy day so the beach vibes weren’t all that.
