Hotel décoré de bon goût et cuisinière avec plats et casseroles inclus. Deux piscines. Loin de tous les restaurants, loin de la ville, loin des taxis. Il est préférable d'avoir une voiture pour choisir cet hotel.

Bel endroit, bien situé sur la rivière maya entre playa del carmen et tulum.equipements rudimentaire mais literie de bonne qualité. Akumal est une ville plus tranquille avec sa jolie plage ses restos bons et calme ... l'hotel est a l'écart de la ville ,prévoir une voiture. y aller sans hesiter

Muy bonito lugar en el medio de la jungla. Los dueños son muy agradables, nos dieron buenos consejos de visitas. Con un poco de anticipación rentan equipo de snorkeling y chalecos hasta para niños . Nosotros rentamos un departamento todo equipado, refrigerador, cocina, cubiertos todo está para poder pasar tiempo allí mismo. Decorado con muy buen gusto. Definitivamente a disfrutar de nuevo pero mas tiempo.

Hidden gem in the jungle! We had a fantastic stay at jungle hotel. Beautiful an quit location not far from all the great places at the reviera Maya. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. They even got us some groceries so that we could cook after our late arrival. Bicycles are available and free to use. Rental cars are available which are highly recommended to make your stay even more enjoyable. This place is highly recommended

If you are willing to compromise on comfort or are looking to spend more time with animals this place will be okay for you. The apartment we got was spacious and had a full kitchen so you can make yourself breakfast. The bathroom was big and there was tepid water at all times, although it smelled of chlorine and we had to brush our teeth with filtered bottled water. There is parking and you really need a car to go anywhere. The wifi was great and strong. However, there were geckos creeping in through the door and window cracks all the time, especially at night. They made sounds which kept us awake and there was a lot of lizard poo in the window sill above the bed and some on the bed when we arrived. There were also a lot of ants including in the bed. The AC was not working well, it was on 18C throughout the night and we woke up sweating. The flat was generally clean-ish apart from the abundance of gecko poo of course although everything was rustier and not as nice looking as in the booking photos. The pool could be better maintained and i saw a maintenance guy sweeping the water with a broom which might not provide best results. Late check in - after 4pm and early check out, at 11am. Overall, i couldn’t wait to leave.

We had the King Of The Jungle room which was very spacious, had a sofa, kitchen and kitchen table and ample space to store luggage. The wifi was exceptionally good and the gardens were cute and there were some hammocks to relax and two pools. There is enough parking spaces for cars. If you’re squeamish about jungle life creeping up on you during the night, specifically geckos, then the Jungle Hotel is not for you. We had many geckos inside (creeping in through slider windows that were closed) and some ants in the bed. We found a big beetle-like creature in the toilet the second morning and one gecko that was in between a glass window and a mosquito net window kept us awake most of the first night screaming every half hour or so. Tap water smelled like chlorine. Some of the above are part of the charm of staying in the jungle, however we found gecko droppings on the bed the first afternoon, and later discovered that the window sill above the bed was littered with gecko poop...that could definitely use a thorough clean. The shower was clean when we arrived, however on the morning of day 2 we also found gecko droppings there (two ‘proud’ geckos still near the window when we entered the bathroom). The host didn’t ask if we liked our stay at the end and said something to have a good trip further took the key and left, so no possibility to let her know about the window sill.

This a unique, charming property that should not be missed. Set just off into the jungle, but not so far as to be even the slightest inconvenienced. Property, both rooms and outdoor spaces, are care well maintained and cared for. Rooms provide a great base camp for the many attractions in and around the area. Two pools are spacious and relaxing. Little bits of wildlife if you look close, but does not encroach for those that do not prefer it. Area by the lower pool has an outdoor eating/entertainment area, with a small fort for the kids to play in. Small touches here and there show how important the guests are to both owners and hosts. Kurt was incredibly insightful and willing to help teach us about the attractions of Quintana Roo, and also help us avoid the local scams. For those that are looking for something that isn't in the city or right on the beach, this is a perfect rental.
