Aloft Tulum - 77760 Tulum

PROS: Helpful staff, large spaces, great rooms, great location (easy walk to great restaurants, bars, pharmacies, etc.), lots of parking, underground, which is nice for a hot climate, reasonable prices compared to most of Tulum. Large & more than adequate gym. VERY large suites, some with pleasant balconies & hammocks (being forewarned though that some "balconies" are actually tiny & have zero views, only into the trees). CONS: Hard to believe you can't even order food to pick-up by phone, they make you go there, order & then wait. Overall they have some random & in my opinion, ridiculous policies like not placing and/or sending real glasses to the rooms, not even when you're in a Suite! Slow response to Chat, small rooftop pool area, but there's another pool on the ground floor.

Thumbs up to a hotel that has a room -within the hotel- designated to do COVID testing. Makes the nightmare of testing easier. Negative: breakfast service is extra slow, if you are in a hurry don’t eat there. Positive extra points for complimentary bottled of water every day Overall Nice hotel, staff super friendly good restaurants near by, a more quiet and calm area (loved it), perfect option if you don’t want to come to Tulum just for the party. Rooftop pool is amazing

Loved our stay here. The whole hotel wasnt completely finished yet but it was in a great area. The adult only pool on the rooftop was our favorite part. Tons of great restaurants around. The staff was super friendly and gave us tons of extra water bottles.

Really enjoyed the hotel. It was beautifully done, had an amazing rooftop pool area although the water was a bit cold, fantastic service, rooms were very comfortable and were serviced regularly. The gym was great to work out in and was small but got the job done. Location was on a strip with other hotels and restaurants. Super convenient. I'm t was a 25 minute walk to central Tulum. A taxi drive, 15 minute bike ride to the beach. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Aloft Tulum for 9 days for New Year’s Eve and had a great stay. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Rooms are sleek and comfortable. Rooftop pool food, drinks, and service was amazing. Highly recommend! It is on a fun strip with good restaurants and bars and about a 10-15 min cab to the crazy beach area. Perfect location if you are looking for something a little more quiet and not crazy expensive.

I had a great stay at Aloft after being upgraded to a suit. The first room we had felt a bit small, and we could hear the pool from above us. The washroom smelled a little funky too. Once we were upgraded however everything was perfect. The staff were very helpful in helping us plan our stay in Tulum, the rooftop pool with cabanas was very relaxing and there are a bunch of offers to unwind with. I did feel the space attracts more of a younger party type demographic so the rooftop turns into a party zone in the late afternoon.

We stayed at this hotel last month and we only have good things to tell about it. The room was big and clean, love the decor. The breakfast was the best, a lot of things to choose. The pools are beautiful, in particular the infinity pool in the rooftop. The staff is always ready to help in everything. They also have bikes to rent, and we had so much fun exploring Tulum with the bikes, is the best way. We had a lovely stayed and I recommended for sure!! Thank you so much Aloft for make this days so perfect.

I spent a night at Aloft Tulum with my partner and would definitely recommend it. Beautiful roof top infinite pool overlooking the jungle! Great pool service, and the dinner at the bar by the pool was excellent, we had the best veggie burger ever tried, and incredibly big portions. The hotel is new, the rooms are big, with a simple and modern decor, great big powerful shower. Breakfast is not buffet style, but rather you have to sit down and take the order from the menu, which is not our preferred style of breakfast, but nonetheless the food was delicious there too.
