Aquanauts Dive Adventures

Over the past 2 months I have been fortunate to have nearly 20 dives with Aquanauts: wreck, night, drift, reef and Cenotes. The whole team from Crescent and William, through to boat crew and instructors / guides are amazing. I felt so comfortable with the entire team, I brought my son over to do this Advanced Open Water with them. I look forward to diving with them again.

American owner, very prompt, flexible, and helpful with all our many questions; provided great service with transportation, and the snorkeling was not at all disappointing. I'm so glad we found this place.

It has been quite some time since I’ve been diving. After a nice visit with Crescent, the dive shop owner I felt very comfortable with this shop. We decided that it would be best that I go through a refresher before going out into the ocean. We scheduled the refresher for the next day in the pool and went over basic skills and signs. Our instructor was Diana and she did a fantastic job. We came back the next morning for our two tank dive. My wife and I met our group at the dive shop and confirmed that everyone & everything was ready to go. Our group consisted of my wife and I and two other men, the boat captain and 1st mate along with a photographer. Diana was our dive master and went over the rules of the boat and the info needed for our dives. The dives were great! An amazing abundance of all kinds of fish with excellent visibility. Aquanauts Dive Adventures was a very professional company and we could not of asked for any better Dive Master than Diana! I highly recommend this shop & Diana. Next time we come back we will be prepared and definitely use Aquanauts again! Thank you for the awesome adventure and great day!

We did 2 dives during our trip and everyone was great! Super attentive, knowledgeable and professional and fun! Lots to see only a short boat ride out. Highly recommended!

I called Aquanauts and spoke to Crescent the owner. Immediately she was super friendly and offered to call me back to save my phone bill. She built a package of dives for me and my wife and was very helpful, flexible and fun to deal with. We then connected on WhatsApp and she was super responsive even sending pictures of how to get to the dive center with our rental car. The whole dive team was extremely professional but also alot of fun. They could not do enough for us, loading the gear onto the dive boat and generally making our experience a great one. The dive gear was all in excellent condition and well looked after. The dive sites were great and we had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately I developed an ear infection and had to stop diving. Cresent immediately offered a refund for the balance and there was no haggling or negotiation. She even drove to our hotel to get us the refund as the machine had a fault the previous day. When I asked her why she took so much trouble she replied "because we are in it for the long haul". I think this sums up Aquanauts. They deeply care about their customers. One fellow diver on the boat had been coming back for 14 years. I understand why as we will definitely be going back and cannot recommend them highly enough. A great all round operation.

Great experience. I have been diving for 20 years and Aquanauts did not disappoint. As you can see, there are many dive shops in the area to choose from so I did my homework and narrowed it down to a couple of shops. I was very pleased with Crescent's response time and thoroughness of her responses. I felt very comfortable that Aquanauts was going to try to find the best dive experience for me. I finally chose the shipwreck/reef 2 tank dive. Ended up only being me and one other diver that morning but they still took us out. It was like having a private dive. I had a great time and it was beautiful. There was no other boats at the shipwreck during our dive. Their boat and equipment were in great condition. I would definitely recommend them and would like to be a repeat customer when I return. They weren't the cheapest, but were still competitive. I am hoping to dive the Cenotes next time.

Easily the best in the game. I’ve dove around the globe and never felt such hospitality from a business in my diving career. Crescent and her husband William are amazing. I dove with william on a very advanced Cenote dive and his professionalism was outstanding. Felt very comfortable with the group. Joe one of the guides was also amazing. They picked me up to and from my hotel quick and easy. I 100% recommend this business. I still have multiple dives planned with Aquanuts and will update the review as I go along !

I was able to go diving with Aquanauts this past week, there an upscale business located right on the Harbor. They are in a secure location with gate check in and out. They have multiple guides and boats available and know the reef and structure very well. Each day they have a schedule for where they are diving but if you have a group, you can call and arrange for a different dive adventure. I rent my equipment wherever I travel and there gear is in great condition with all sizes to fit and kept in great condition. Ownership of Aquanauts is by a husband and wife, Crescent, was able to easily book me exactly what I was looking for. She is originally from Canada and I was clearly able to communicate my skill level in diving and what I was looking for. Her Husband was my guide, He has been diving his whole life and has some amazing stories about the cenotes and exploration diving. I was staying about a half hour north. They arranged for me to be picked up and dropped off. That gentleman was very well spoken and was able to give us a mini tour on the way there and back. In all my experience was a 10/10 and I will be going there again for diving.
