★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are holidaying in Playa del Carmen & do need to get some touristy gifts for people, I really recommend this shop - a relative haven along the main hellish tourist strip of Quinta Avenida. Unlike many places no one harangues or accosts you on the street or constantly harasses you in store while you try to browse - I actually left some other shops because the harassment was so extreme. And ok, like most of the other shops they do have their fair share of 'made in china' chatkes but more than make up for it with a reasonably good & interesting variety of more local genuinely Mexican products at fair prices...a better choice to support industry in the country you're visiting!
