Did walk by a couple days ago and was busy, as was today. I waited a bit and got in. There were 5 cutting at this time (mid-afternoon). The environment was very friendly and welcoming. English not too great, but they could get by. Una cerveza mas por favor does not cut it when trying to explain what i wanted,
He did great and they were all having fun while workings. Sometimes walking away for 30 seconds to make a joke and then come back. Was a good cut and felt great walking out.
Cut 250 pesos and i tipped another 100 on top.
Would have gone back for the straight shave, but started growing a beard.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for this service (they also do tatoos).
Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say with the rating being so high I was disappointed with the results. Having to wash and dry my hair myself over a sink, and my hairdresser was more interested in his phone than listening or trying to understand what haircut I wanted. Even if there was a language barrier, this wasn’t as big of a problem as the lack of interest in his trade/profession. The cut itself was very basic and took him 10 minutes to perform, not because he was fast but because he just didn’t cut it properly. I’m sure there’s better and more enthusiastic hairdresser elsewhere in playa. Would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top notch barber shop! Where you can get your haircut needs met while in playa. They tend to do lots of hip urban styles, but pretty much do whatever you request. Staff was friendly, helpful and aimed to please. Would definitely return whenever im in playa. Highly recommend Barber Javier For his Haircutting skills and Positive vibes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top cut, barber didn't speak any English but I showed him what I wanted and I've got the best fade I've had in a long time compared to back home. I pay £25 in England for a fade, this was £12.25 for skinfade and a beard shape up.
