I highly recommend Blu-emotion for your next dive excursion. From start to finish... they are top notch! I’ve visited Cozumel for diving several times, Blu-emotion is the best on the island!!

I highly recommend blu-emotion due to a lot of reasons. 1) Allen and Chiaki are running a business in which it is not only about handing out certificates 2) they are both super friendly 3) they really want you to understand why certain things are important, how in detail they work and what the rational behind is to do so 4) they are trustworthy and responible people 5) they care about the reef and nature in general... I would do my certificate at any time again with blu-emotion and definitely will dive with them as soon as I am back in Mexico!

Blu-emotion Cozumel is the BEST diving service option on the island!! We have known Chiaki for years, our entire family would not dive with anyone else!! If you dive with Chiaki or Allen, you will be guaranteed to have a safe, educational, fun 1 or 2 tank dive . Can't wait to see you in February 2020 !!

Great Experience with Blu-emotion Cozumel! As someone with zero diving experience, I knew what I wanted when I decided to go to Cozumel and finally take my Open Water Course– a veteran instructor, small class size and a focus on safety. I didn’t want to be in an overcrowded course with instructors who were just going through the motions and might herd you on to a boat stuffed with cruise ship passengers. No disrespect to cruise ship passengers but they are the biggest group of tourists you’ll find in Cozumel. After I posted what I was looking for, in a Cozumel divers’ group on Facebook, someone in the group recommended Blu-Emotion. They added that I was likely to be the only student in the course. Afterwards, I emailed some additional questions to Chiaki, who runs Blu-Emotion with Allen, and found her to be incredibly responsive and helpful. She turned out to be my instructor and just as I had been told by the person who responded to my post, it turned out to be four-days of one-to-one training. Chiaki was extremely patient, kind and good at explaining concepts I had a hard time grasping the first or fourth time I asked. She picked me up at my AirBnB every morning, encouraged me, and pushed me to progress through the course. She gave me local travel recommendations too. Her primary concerns were my safety and that I was enjoying the experience. It was an amazing learning experience and so much fun. Although I only met Allen, who is a Cozumel native, briefly, I got the same positive impression of him. Whether I dive again in six months (I passed!), two years, or never again, I will always remember the experience Blu-Emotion made possible for me.

I met Allen 4 years ago as a dive master at Deep Blue. He was an excellent teacher! He was professional, patient, encouraging and VERY knowledgeable of both dive skills and the reef life. He had an incredible ability to find the exotic creatures, and would not only point them out, but would also teach us their names. This Cozumel trip, I wanted to make sure that all my dives were with him. I was thrilled to find out that he was starting his own dive business and that we would explore the reefs together for 4 days, while my friend was getting certified with Chiaki - another gem of an instructor. Both Allen and Chiaki went out of their way to take care of us. From offering us rides to and from the harbor, to making sure that we felt comfortable with the equipment, to recommending great local taquerias for us to try... Coming back to dive with them, felt like visiting friends. Lots of dive shops in Cozumel feel impersonal, have over packed boats and large dive groups. Blu-emotion focuses on the quality of experience for their clients. Both Chiaki and Allen are incredibly warm, competent and passionate about marine life. I high recommend this dive operation! You will not be disappointed!

Blu-emotion Chiaki and Allen are the absolute best. I was visiting Cozumel with an experienced diver so while she went off with Allen for some boat dives Chiaki took me through the certification process. Chiaki quickly got to know me and figured out how to make me comfortable with the equipment and in the water. Everyday was a joy and the boat dive in my last day was spectacular. They’re a small operation so the service you get is extremely personalized. From hotel pickups to bringing equipment around so we had the right fit in the water to really great restaurant recommendations. I can’t recommend them enough.

After someone in my hostel’s recommendation, I emailed Chiaki one evening and after a quick response was able to set up diving the next morning. Chiaki picked me up on time in the morning and we went and had 2 great dives without any other people in our group! It was great going diving without having so many people around and the entire time I felt incredibly safe and well looked after. I would highly recommend diving with Blu Emotion in Cozumel.

Unlike other bigger operators Chiaki is offering a very personalized, small group diving experience. She is also very flexible and accommodating in all regards, let it be schedule, picking the dive sites or deposit/payment. Weather you are an advanced, intermediate or a beginner diver Chiaki will ensure that everyone’s safe, and everyone’s bottom time will be optimized according to the individual abilities or needs. Meeting and diving with Chiaki was a pleasure, definitely the best diving operator that I have encountered. Highly recommended!!
