El hotel se ve mucho mejor en las fotos, tiene unas escaleras interminables, la alberca nada antojable y por la noche solo se escuchan las motos y los carros que pasan al lado de la carretera en lugar de olas del mar. Nunca podrás abrir las cortinas del cuarto porque tiene 0 privacidad, colchón y almohada incomodos, reservamos 4 noches y solo aguantamos 1, solo nos quisieron devolver el 50% de las otras noches pero aun así salimos corriendo, ahórrate la pena y vete a un hotel frente al mar

Struttura appena costruita, camere pulitissime e di gran gusto. Staff gentilissimo. Ottima posizione per visitare a piedi sia Mazunte che San Augustinillo. Una cosa da sapere: nelle camere non c’è acqua calda. Sebbene per noi fosse molto strano, in realtà ci é stato spiegato che a Mazunte la maggior parte delle strutture ne è sprovvista. Questo perché il sole caldo di Mazunte scalda le tubature praticamente in ogni periodo dell’anno, pertanto l’acqua della doccia non risulta mai ghiacciata, ma solo un poco tiepida. I prezzi sono un po’ più alti della media, ma dopo aver soggiornato a Cabaña Sicarú, abbiamo capito il perché.

I absolutely loved my stay at Cabañas Sicarú, the room was really spacious and the unique design was definitely a plus. The owner and the team were super nice and helpful recommending the best beaches around Mazunte and some delicious places to get some food. I can't wait to be back soon.

We passed this hotel a few times while in Mazunte and liked it for the nice fusion of a modern concept while maintaining a local touch with the palm leaf hatched roofs. We believe that places like this are important to keep the laid-back flair of this magic village and to offer a more upscale experience. We stayed at another rustic place but after a few very hot nights we looked for something more centric and definitively cooler. When I found the Cabañas Sicarú on booking.com and saw it had air conditioning it was a clear case. The communication was quick and uncomplicated for a special wish, so we were looking forward to our cool rooms - and the rooms are not only temperature cool, but all have an individual cool touch. When we later met the owner it became clear that we had made a good choice. He is enthusiastic and he and his team offer a very warm hospitality to their guests. We had the honour to be their first guests. Yes, this place is brand new! The rooms are spacious and have a nice large bathroom. There is a large swimming pool inviting you to spend the evening soaking. The snack bar opened while we were there, serving some delicious Mexican dishes - and food is being served out of a repurposed Volkswagen camper bus! As it is a brand new hotel there are will be some finishing touches in some areas, but it is clear already now that these cabañas are a great place to stay. The beaches of Mazunte and San Agustinillo are a few minutes away. If you are attending a retreat at Hridaya Yoga, it is only two, three minutes away and you will love a cool room at night. We will definitively be back.

Beautiful, brand new hotel in Mazunte. The rooms are spacious and with loads of details, like the whole premises, and its in close walking distance to the beach and the centre. A gem that is slowly coming together!

If you're looking for a hotel in Mazunte this is definitely one of the best choices you can make, if not the best in terms of prices and comfort. Every room comes with air condition, tv with netflix, amazon prime and a fan above the bed. The big pool is amazing to hangout at day time and looks really nice at night because of the lights. They provide a delivery service from 3 different restaurants near the hotel. A gym is also planned for march 2022. I definitely loved my stay there! Thanks to the Owner (Lalo) and his team who are making a great job. Looking forward to go there again some day.

We had a really nice stay here and loved the pool, but as it came out to almost $200/night with taxes and fees I felt it was not the best value. The water was lukewarm and not hot, it is still under construction and some of the railings are missing, two windows in our room had boards instead of glass, no purified water, shampoo, or lotion in the rooms, and some confusion on the best WhatsApp number to communicate with the owner. I would stay again if the price was lower or if they added some more amenities.

We had a lovely stay at Cabanas Sicaru! True hospitality from the owner Eduardo and his lovely family and staff. We were visiting on our honeymoon and came back after dinner our first night to the room decorated with rose petals and a sweet note. The room was incredibly comfortable with a great mattress and the pillows were AWESOME! The plants are amazing and decorations of the rooms are cool. The town of Mazunte is just a short walk down the road and we had so much fun eating at all the little restaurants. Highly recommend a stay. We miss the time we spent here so much already.
