This is horrible!!! It is NOT A FAMILY SHOW!!!! The food was decent but don't waste your money on the lobster because it's a ripp off for the price very very small!. If you want a BOOZE CRUISE then take this tour. NOT appropriate for small children! Alcohol flows feely for the first 2 hours to get you boozed up and it continues all night! They don't provide bottled water. The tour company told me this tour was 3 hours it was more like 4.5 hours. we waited almost 3 hours before we were served dinner. The battle between ships was cool. Just beware this tour.is geared more towards adults and we had a small child with us and that was our mistake. Lesson learned!!! I completed the comment form at the end and a family member of mine saw the crew member read it and then he crumpled it up and tossed it!!! So it was not able to be read by the tour company!!!

Not really an entertaining show for children! Is more of a party ship. If you like dancing and drinking cheap liquor go for it. You can get a bottle of better alcohol for extra $1,000 pesos. There is an additional fee once you board. The food is ok not worth the price. Overall is a fun show not really for children.

This is definitely not for kids. They claim to be be for kids but far from it. This is a party on a boat with lots of drunks and the show is not a show it's more of a stand up comedy wearing pirate costumes, catered to the grown ups with raunchy gestures and adult humor. I took my 10 year old daughter and she was so disappointed. We could not get off fast enough. The bad thing is it sets sail...the food was terrible and the service worse. I paid for the steak, I expected a filet, they gave me Sirloin for 80 Bucks plus upcharge..get the Fritz's out of here. And then they run around asking for tips and handing out review cards but only to the white people. Here's my review....not for children and not worth the price!!!!

We had a blast aboard the captain hook dinner show! We brought our 5 year old and it was his favorite part of our whole entire trip. It was a little over an hour from our riviera maya resort, but we added transportation to our package and it was very reasonable. Both my husband and I had the steak (it was 2 for the price of 1 on the website, and our son was free!) After dock fee ($14 each adult) it came to $135 for all of us with transportation. Our dinner was delicious! For kids they had chicken nuggets and hot dogs on the buffet. The show was awesome and very entertaining. We were on captain hook's ship and thought that it was very kid friendly. They even had a treasure hunt for them! I was so nervous after reading other reviews about it being a "booze cruise" but I was pleasantly surprised. We did not have any unpleasant drunk people on ours, and everyone was very friendly! our son stayed awake the whole entire time which is practically a miracle. He can't stop talking about captain hook and the fight between the other boat. It was an overall fun time for all of us. I would definitely do it again! The only cons I can think of: 1. The music was pretty loud, so if you have very young children you should bring along ear plugs. 2. They do ask for tips multiple times which I cannot stand. But ultimately it's up to you if you want to tip or not.

Fun for the whole family! You'll dance (there's a LOT of dancing so I wanted to mention that up front), you'll eat, you'll drink (also a lot of drinking, not necessarily alcoholic, thus 'the whole family'), plenty of laughs as well as some exciting stunts. One minute your waiter will be serving you a drink, the next he'll be engaged in a swordfight, and still make sure to come back later and ensure you're taken care of. The staff are fantastic at their jobs and really, while the trip might seem costly, you do get one hell of an experience out of it, in both English and Spanish.

Book your reservation now!!! My sister and I went last weekend and wow, what a wonderful time!! Really fun entertainment. The night started off with pirate scenes and games. The entire crew is so talented and inclusive with everyone. They had us laughing non stop!! The food was delicious!! We got the steak and chicken. Both were great and there are unlimited drinks on board. Your pirates are the waiters and they were all so helpful. You sail around the ocean and see the breathtaking sunset of Cancun. Then we finished the night with dancing and music. There were a variety of age groups and lots of families! It's very family friendly! I highly recommend Captain Hook!

Amazing night out. Suitable for everyone, including children. Captain Hook and his team of pirates were absolutely superb. A night filled with fun, drinks and food. A must do if your in cancun.
