A beautiful hotel in a very quite and tranquil part of the island. It is 3 blocks from the beach, about a 3 minute walk and the same distance the opposite direction to the center, where there is a basketball court, restaurants and much more. The hotel has a beautiful mural on the front, lots of greenery once you enter the hotel, very friendly host and the wifi was very good compared to other wifi spots on the island. This place is exceptional and I highly recommend!

A very cozy and quaint boutique hotel right in the heart of Holbox. The property was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and we had an amazing time calling this place "home" during our 5-day visit. Would highly recommend, as we will be back here ourselves in the near future!

Super nice place to stay in Holbox. I spent there 10 days and I felt like it was home!! Perfect location. just around the corner from the main square and from the beach, but NOT in the middle of the night noise, which is fun but could be intense if you are tired and want to sleep. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. A big plus is the water: hot and with pressure, which is a difficult thing to find around these areas. There is also a beautiful terrace from where you can drink a beer watching the sunset. Thanks to Sunshine, the manager, and Omar, i had an amazing vacation on Holbox!!!!

I’m glad I discovered this hotel on my first visit to Holbox. Will definitely be staying here on my next visits. Close to delicious restaurants (priced from affordable to ‘we don’t serve commercial drinks here’). It’s in a quiet spot, but a few minute walk to where the action is (from regatón to cool house music). Beach is a golf swing away. Management is always around to fulfill all your needs. Even if those include a freshly made ceviche.

Went to holbox with a group of friends for the first time few days ago. The plan was to stay there for the weekend, but the island itself and Casa sunshine made it like heaven on earth for us and I extended a couple more days. Very close to the beach and to all the cool spots, only a couple of hundred feet away. The rooms are very cute and hip looking just gives you the feels of being on a cool island! The manager Omar was also very helpful and at our assistance any time we wanted!! I would go back tomorrow, and I’ll stay again at casa sunshine in a heart beat ?

Very cute place in quiet but central location and reasonable prices. The owner has a lot of eye for detail and the whole place is nicely decorated with plants small items. We loved our stay here a lot. We can particularly recommend the upstairs family rooms as they have a lot of space. Thanks again for the great time <3

This was my first time Visiting Isla Holbox and Casa Sunshine exceeded expectations. The perfect vibe for the tranquil happy island. The place is beautifully decorated, and filled with tiny magical details such as a sitting area for meditation or yoga, a cozy hammock, and live plants in the rooms! Speaking of plants, if you’re a plant a lover like me, you will more than appreciate the beautiful terrace that is filled with exotic plants and colorful bursts of color. The beds are very comfortable, cold ac, include a ceiling fan, mini fridge and the added bonus of hot water with great pressure that is indeed a luxury in Mexico. Location couldn’t be better - walking distance from the main square and the beach, but fear not this place provides a quiet oasis for rest and recovery. Party or peace, it’s literally the best of both worlds. The staff is over accommodating and super friendly. Omar and Sunshine are absolute gems of humanity.If you’re on the fence about booking - just do it. You won’t be disappointed.
