I enjoyed my month stay here so much - the facilities are great and it is becoming a vibrant hub of conscious events in Tepoz! Magic and community happens here - Axel is the best host ever!

I really enjoyed my 2 nights in CasaHuilo . Rooms are comfortable in a beautifull green nature set up .The atmospher is friendly , helpfull manager and people with a gorgious kitchen to share and beautifull view on the mountains .Very ractical too as it is walking distance to local little markets and restaurants or gourmet shops

This place was awesome! The property is surrounded by huge majestic mountains and lush nature. The sunsets were epic and gorgeous. It's walking distance from horse riding nearby too, so that was another plus for us. The room we stayed in had a private entrance and bathroom, and huge windows that let a ton of sunshine in, which I loved. The bed was super comfy. It had a large shared kitchen with gorgeous colorful tile and was really nice to hang out in. There was also a really great outdoor space where we could hang out with people and be social or cowork while overlooking the spacious pool. I also loved the big fireplace. Axel himself was an excellent host! We were immediate friends and he was super accommodating, generous, and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed + beyond, and was really fun to hang out with. He had great recommendations for places to go nearby. We loved the events he hosted as well. While we were there, there was a magic show, and a cool party that was similar to ecstatic dance, which included an optional meal to purchase. We did end up buying dinner that nigh because it smelled so good. The offering was a delicious vegetarian indian curry + alcohol free cocktail with all kinds of amazing medicinal ingredients that gave us a really nice gentle natural buzz. As someone interested in healthy foods and drinks, this was incredible to have offered. Way better than any resort hotel - we wish we'd found it sooner! We had been paying double to stay at a hotel in central Tepoztlan and only discovered Axel's place towards the end of our trip and regretted spending so much at a place that was way less fun to be at, and much less beautiful than Casahuilo. I can't recommend this place enough, we'll definitely be back! And it's so nice to know we have such a cool friend in Tepoz! Thank you Axel!! :)

A hidden Gem! Beautiful spacious property with stunning views, lovely rooms and ample facilities. Axel is a wonderful host - warm and welcoming with extensive local knowledge. Great location and price, can't recommend enough!

Really great spot in a central location and beautiful view of the mountain. Ideal for a short or long term stay with all the amenities needed to rest and nourish yourself. Also a great spot to take a workshop, attend one of their greatly curated events and get inspired!

To sum it up, Casa Huilo was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Axel holds the space with compassion and true hospitality. I stayed here for 3 months, I would’ve stayed longer if not for other commitments. Casa Huilo truly felt like a home and I cannot recommend it more to anyone rolling through the magical town of Tepoztlan. Ouuuweeeeee
