Update: After 45 min and several people having left at the same time we arrived, our food was ready.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here, you will most-certainly enjoy some of the best tacos in town, my food friends. The cecina (beef jerky) tacos are EPIC! They also provide an assorted salsa bar in order to further enhance your menu choices. There's a nice selection of agua frescas, too. "La Carniza" is a necessary food stop in Playa. ❤ ? ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you visit Playa del Carmen , don't forget to taste the best Cecina tacos in town, also ask for the "Quececina" (Cecina Quesadilla).... I highly recommend this place, I suggest you go to more local places and avoid turist traps located in the 5th Avenue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing tacos! We asked the taxi driver to take us to his favorite place and this is where he brought us! It’s in a gritty area and stands alone. Everyone speaks only Spanish but it is well worth the effort. The meat is wonderful!! And they cost about 1.50 each.
