Cenote San Ignacio - 97816 Chocholá

A stunningly clear cenote that also has a restaurant, pool and hammocks

Rodrigo was our waiter and he was very attentive, incredible food, the cenote is small but beautiful with crystal clear water, the water is a perfect temperature to swim and relax for awhile. Once you're topside in the hammocks sleeping off a fantastic lunch you're feel totally relaxed for continuing your week. A fantastic and inexpensive way to spend a great day recharging.

It was nice but they advertise it to be so much better. Felt like a tourist trap, a bit expensive and the cenote is very beautiful but very small. There is a nice pool to spend the day with the family and the restaurante is average.

Great service!!! The place is clean and organized. The lady who greats you at the door is very sweet and helpful. Manuel (our waiter) gave me and my friends great suggestions and the food was great.

This cenote is fully underground. It's small but so beautiful! We went within an hour of its opening and that was the best decision! We were one of few people there. They have a nice heated pool, small park, hammocks, and a full restaurant and bar. The food was delicious!!! It tasted so authentic! It's better to get the food package to save money. We didn't get it and regretted it because we paid more than we would have if we would have purchased it. The mixed drinks were ok..... if you like beer I say stick to $40 beer over $120-150 drinks but that's just my preference. We know local prices so the mixed drinks were a little pricey especially for the alcohol content. Overall we loved it and will hopefully return one day soon!!! This was my first cenote and I found it to be so beautiful and fascinating. The water was a deep turquoise color and looked clean and well maintained. There were no other foreigners when we went in the afternoon and also few people, which was really nice. I loved it. Plus, there are plenty of bathrooms and changing rooms which were clean.
