Like the vibe , friendly staff, and room was good even tho it was next to kitchen .

Amazing little hostel with all a surfers heart let beat higher. Amazing good vegetarian cousin, super friendly staff to which I count the dogs to as well. I'm traveling since 4 years, haven been in over 30 hostels across Mexico, can definitely recommend the place, the food, the owner,,, I hope you will enjoy the stay much as I did.

we were treated so poorly here. they came to our door & kicked us out in the rain because of our service animals that we have registered & a doctors note. we asked the woman who checked us in if pets were okay and she said yes. an employee watched me walk them upstairs and stopped to tell me how cute they were. i am so dissapointed in a place that offers yoga and claims to be kind; do not stay here - bad vibes all around.

The room I rented looked actually more like a bunker than an hotel room. No air circulation, some bare necessities missing (soap, half a toilet paper roll), a bad humidity smell and no luminosity whatsoever. The staff is super nice tho and the location is great. Be aware that the hostel is located in front of a bar, can be noisy at night.

I had the worst experience with my girlfriend in this hostel (if I can call it hostel). I booked over the phone for few nights. On the first day when we came back from the beach we found all our personal items, cameras, computers and passports outside the room in the lobby where anyone could take them. I talked to the “manager” and she became confused with the situation and didn’t know how to deal with it. I saw in her notes that they had also rented the room to us for a higher price that they told us over the phone. I tried then talk to the owner and unfortunately he was extremely rude. It was a shame how people like them try to ruin a nice community in Puerto Escondido.

The Hostel was noisy during the whole day and night, supper humid, the bed sank down and was very uncomfortable, in the kitchen there was only one tiny pot to cook in so we couldn’t cook- we had a really bad experience here!

It feels like you are sleeping inside a club. So noisy from the bar next door and the people talking outside the window in the common area. The mattress sinks down in the middle and the toilet is clogged

Would never ever recommend this place to anyone! I arrived at 11pm finding a locked door and nobody inside even though they said they're 24 hours open. I texted them on whatsapp and tried to call them various times on the phone and as well on whatsapp. Of course no reaction. After waiting 45 minutes infront of the closed hostal some other guests showed up who have been so kind to let me in and showed me the dorm. The hostal got back to me the next day at 9.20am (almost 10.5 hours later) via WhatsApp not even apologizing for the inconvenience or asking how the night ended up for me. They just said it was out of their hands cause they didn't had a contact of me. I made the reservation via whatsapp and we've been in contact on it so of course they had my contact. Besides all the hustle I had I never got a discount nor even an apology which normally would be the least thing to do. The hostal itself is dirty and not very comfortable. They're no real walls in the dorm and it's right next to the street so it's super loud which makes getting a good rest quite impossible. At least after my complaint they changed their opening hours on the homepage. Guess I can give 1 star for that.
