★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno de los mejores templos de la zona conurbada Zacatecas-Guadalupe. Fue entre el siglo XVVII y XVIII el Colegio de Propaganda Fide de la orden Franciscana, en sus pasillos se formaron los fundadores de numerosas misiones que alctualmente se localizan en estados de la Unión Americana, cómo Texas, Nuevo México y California. Fray Margil de Jesús es uno de sus más representativos frailes.
Al visitar el Templo no olvides visitar el Museo Virreinal que contiene una de las mejores pinacotecas del país de arte Novohispano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite interesting place with an extensive collection of religious and colonial art. There's plenty of explanations below each painting. It will take you a long time to read it all... in some of the patios, you can see the tunnels which are connected to Zacatecas !
The church next door is interesting to see as there's a chapel inside it, on top of which the church was constructed !
To go there from Zacatecas, you can take a bus for 8,5pesos in Plaza Bicentenario, or an Uber for 65pesos (without traffic).
