Diamante K - 77780 Tulum

Rolled into this place solo on a whim. Booked the bungalow on the beach and time stopped. My bathroom & shower were outside under palm trees. The birds sang to me as I got ready for a world class breakfast on the beach. Yes there is no air conditioning so be ok with that. Lots of air and a fan above your head so I was comfortable. The sound of the waves at night was a dream. The staff are first class and the food is exceptional. They have so many healthy options as well as classics. Take advantage of the beds on the shore line! Eat your breakfast while you lay out like royalty. Wow life is good. It’s a more mellow vibe than Tulum beach. More wild, more calm and more grounded. Thanks for stopping time, I’ll be back.

This place is magical. There is a private beach, with many palm trees , hammocks to relax, yoga classes in the morning , and different kinds of activities in the afternoon (reiki, sound healing,ecstatic dance…)and generally there is a great vibe. Our room had a sea view and it was just mind blowing. A private little paradise!!! The only bed things is that we booked only for three nights. Restaurante was also on the beech , with tasty food and drinks, and very friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to come back ?

Not a relaxing place as I expected. Fine if you're planning to get drunk, yell and smoke all day Liked · We booked a suite room which was spacious and had a private patio overlooking the beach. I liked the stylish interior and abundance of the natural light. There's a safe box in the room. The hotel is very well decorated and has cool looking statues everywhere. There are music events and ceremonies. Disliked · The disturbing monotonous music in my room all day long that was coming through the ground from the nearby beach bar. It was playing 10AM-11PM and those drum beats were audible everywhere in my room. Also the hotel has no policy about smoking so cigarette smoke from people smoking at the beach was often blown into my room via the holes under the roof and I couldn't do anything about it. The wi-fi in my room was spotty. I only could find a distant corner where it worked more-less well. The "suite" room didn't have any desk or chair. The hotel staff dog was barking often from 7AM all day long till 1AM. The restaurant food was overpriced and nothing special. We ate mostly in the town. The car parking exists but the road shoulder is destroyed. Park carefully.

Resort is really nice, exclusive and peaceful. Staff is super friendly. Restaurant was good. One of the few resorts that doesn't force a 15% tip. My favorite dish was the Tuna Ceviche, definitely recommend. Enjoyed our mezcalitas at the bar. Great value, priced well. Tip: you can walk to the beach next door and enjoy a good swim in the turquoise water. That was the highlight of the trip·

I absolutely love this place! I always stay there when I go to Tulum. I've stayed there 5 times and always come back. It cracks me up that people complain about mosquitos, having a scorpion in the room, seaweeds, no A/C (find a hotel that has one and don't book a one that does not have A/C!), etc- guess what you are in the freaking Jungle!!! The place is stunning, in the National Park with beautiful grounds, rooms, extremely nice and accommodating staff. The food in the restaurant is very good as well and it feels very safe. I miss this place already!

I know that the French have an unfortunate tendency to believe they are the best in everything, especially in the restaurant and hotel business. This has the negative effect of making the customer demanding... wrongly, no doubt. But in our country, when you pay more than 2000 € for 6 nights in a so-called "luxurious" establishment, when you get up relatively early and at 7.25 am you ask for two coffees at the bar where everyone is already getting restless, you are not gently sent away by telling you that the bar opens at 8 am. We are obliged to take our coffees at the Mezzanine hotel, a few steps away, where we are welcomed with a smile and where we will probably stay when we come back to Tulum, as the service here seems to match the price. On this magnificent coastline, the so-called "luxury" hotels such as the "Diamante K" are jostling each other. The place is splendid and benefits from a certain geographical monopoly. But in the long run, in this sector, it is flexibility and kindness that will make the difference. The architecture of the place is not everything. The rest of our stay will tell me if I was wrong...

Where to start!!!! The place is beautiful, surrounded my nature and private beach. The staff is amazing, they arrange most of our reservations at different places before arriving to the hotel. The pool is so cute and the view is great. I had the ocean view bungalow #12 for my 30th birthday and I loved it! They even decorated the beds with balloons and confetti! The room is good for 2 people as it is small. The outdoor open bath is great! Location is great and secure. I do recommend renting a bike as you will spend a lot on taxi. I’ll definitely come back with my family this time. Loved it!!

We stayed here for 7 days and loved every minute. Thanks to Rafael and Natalia for taking good care of us. We loved the room and the restaurant and the music. The pool is lovely. Lots of reviews seem to contain a "warning" about how it's rough and rugged glamping, but I did not get that feeling at all. The room was a hut with a private bathroom but I never felt like Man vs Wild or anything. I don't think I even saw a single bug. And we were so close to the water that the constant sound of the waves are all-encompassing and hypnotic. We'd love to come back again one day.
