★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a nice, simple beach club in Costa Maya. We rented a Golf Cart that held six people and took a short 15 minute ride from the port to the drunk Burrito. The food cost was a little high for Mexican standards - about $200 for our group. They had some ladies doing beach-side massages for $20 for 30 minutes. The club had a net to keep out the seaweed, and we sat under a beautiful umbrella on the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was one of the nicer restaurants with good food. But the lack of the honest Hispanic guys that work there will probably be my first and last time there for the following cruise. Our bill was pretty high due to the 27usd a kilo of fish. So other then that the villagers that live and work here for a living are completely humble and are always smiling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of those expensive tourist bars along the beach in Mahaual. They are all pretty much the same with expensive food items and drinks. Hawkers move about the tables constantly trying to sell costly trinkets and such as well as drugs to unsuspecting clients. There is a concrete footpath alongside and there are tourist shops mixed with odd food joint on the other side.
It's really too bad. This would be such a beautiful place if it wasn't so overdeveloped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t do it!This place is a rip off and they are crooks. They overcharge and think people are dumb. My burrito was 12.99 on menu they charged me 18, added a 10$ tax when they don’t pay tax, and put no tip included, tried to add an additional 4$ as you see in the attached receipt because the math doesn’t add up. DO NOT EAT HERE. There are cheaper, honest, and more beautiful places on the strip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here via taxi from the cruise port to get some lunch. -1 star for giving us chips and cheese where the cheese came from the large container that you can buy at Sams. Overall not bad we were there on Easter so a lot of locals seemed to be out enjoying the day as well.
