★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure what the hype is. Service was fine but the pasta was just ok. Sauce pretty mediocre. I love Italian and make good Italian. This was not good. The owner seemed nice and very attentive to his regulars. We did not get much attention but thats not an issue. I wonder if that is why they get 5 stars. I would give 3.5 at best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had late dinner here. I had Dorado (mahi mahi) and others had raw tuna. Yes it was that fresh and delicate! Both were amazing. The service was great. It's a quick taxi ride from Embarc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Julian and crew are on top of their game. The food is exquisite and made with love. I have been coming to El Mediterráneo for 17 years, i highly recommend the Huevos Provencal for breakfast, and the rack of lamb with giant shrimp for dinner. On my next visit to Z, I will bring my mother here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the pleasure of dining at El Mediterráneo last night, and we truly enjoyed the ambience, the food, the live music and the hospitality from our waiters. Yet, the attitude from the owner who visited our table a couple of times is the reason we will not return to this restaurant. His sarcastic comments and condescending attitude (toward us) put a real damper on the experience.
