Flamingos - 77520 Cancún

From the moment I walked up to the hostess (Angie) I felt welcomed. The ambiance, location and people were very welcoming and pleasant. I took my mom here for a dinner on her birthday and enjoyed it very very much. The grilled lobster and octopus were perfect with all the condiments. And the fried fish was also very good. I highly recommend it to anyone passing or staying in the area even if you're at an all inclusive take time out to go and visit a local restaurant with warm people and excellent local food.

Impeccable service, delicious food of the freshest quality and ambience to die for.....what more can you ask? This restaurant is a beautiful location and I enjoyed every moment. They had had live music and outdoor dining under fairy lights directly on the beach. It seemed to be a healthy mix of local and visitors as well.

We arrived a little earlier than most customers at noon while the staff was still organising for the day and during a sit down staff meeting for the day. While the staff and service was nearly equal to a 5 star restaurant, it was off by some measure. Very good but not the 5 star they were striving to achieve. The venue was amazing!! Not just the scenery but the facility in that location. It transported you to a simple time. My wife and I both thought it reminded us of luxury Hawaiian hotels of 30 years ago - but not dated, just a beautiful place. The food was very good. No doubt for the lover of Mexican-Caribbean food 4-5 star. It was a 3.5 star for personal taste. Minor negatives 1) they offered an English menu but more than half of the menu wasn't translated. (Words like shrimp and octopus) it would have been better to have not offered the English menu. 2) I ordered shrimp and was served fish (delicious but not what I ordered) 3) they asked us to take an electronic survey of our experience at the table while the server worked on cashing us out with the credit card. Very gauche. We will be back for sure and hopefully have the 5 star experience they are striving so hard to achieve. When you visit you won't be disappointed but perhaps a little frustrated. Just relax and enjoy.

Nice restaurant with beach access, hammocks, and a kids playground with a trampoline. The service was wonderful and the food was decent.

Amazing food, amazing service. The price it was too much expensive for the area but the food was woow! They have good view and you can use the beach.

I just got back from the restaurant. Really impressed with the charm of this place. Food was excellently tasty. Ordered seafood soup and seafood tacos. Great and friendly staff. The hostess called for a taxi for me to get back to the hotel. Highly recommend.

Excellent find as we explored outside of Cancun. Atmosphere was perfect, good music, relaxing and unhurried. The food was good-nothing spectacular but combine with the location, the views and the general atmosphere this was the perfect Cancun of our imaginations. Thank you, just rein in the overzealous motorbike cops on the road please.
