Gypsea Market - 77760 Tulum

Excellent eatery and market!! My favorite place to visit when in Tulum with a breadth of food to eat at the restaurant and all FRESH. The market is great for all dietary needs. And the people that work here are AMAZING, friendly and warm folks that take pride in the food they serve. Must visit when in Tulum especially if you are looking for good food to fill your Airbnb or rental.

We have been shopping at Gypsea Market regularly for nearly a year and have received very poor customer service on many of our visits. We have continued to shop there due to the convenience and variety of speciality goods that they offer, however we would much rather support another business. Their policies throughout the pandemic have been very inconsistent and often dismissive to families with young children. It is also worth noting that many of the exact items they offer can be purchased at Chedraui for less than half of the price. We recommend shopping elsewhere if you are able to.

Really good service and the food was amazing. We had the ham omelette on the swing seats. Good vibes, good food, amazing hot sauce - ask for the spicy spicy one

I went here for dinner two nights ago. They didn't have their full menu available yet since they just opened, but their menu looked really good! Lots of gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. And the drink menu looked really good too with healthy additions like activated charcoal! They have all of their pizzas available and gluten free with vegan options. Plus they're wood fired which made the crust crispy and extra tasty. I got the four cheese pizza with peppers. It was a pretty good size too. My husband got the chicken burger. Both were yummy!! I liked the ambiance of the place. Several of the tables had swings for chairs which is where we sat. There's something about swinging while eating that just makes me feel like a kid again:) The actual market part of Gypsea Market was nice too. It's all designed really well with nice aesthetics inside and out. They don't have the shelves filled yet, but there's some nice products like local produce, juices, vegan milks and cheeses, gluten free products, some natural body care, protein bars... Overall really cool place!

Excellent hamburger, includes some fries and a very small salad, but ask for well done, medium was pretty rare. Nice atmosphere, many vegan and vegetarian selections.

Fancy grocery store!! You can find many types of fruits, vegetables and ingredients impossible to find in the area. Good vegan finds

I actually love Gypsea Market! The staff are always so friendly. Though on the expensive end for grocery for sure… I still loved that I was always able to find what I needed. Kind of reminds me of a Whole foods but much smaller of course ? They often have baked breads and pastries. Prepared foods in the fridge/cooler like lentils, lasagna, cakes and pies, pesto pasta, sandwiches etc if you just want to grab something to eat to go

Always one of my first stops in Tulum. They have a great market with something for everyone vegans too. The restaurant is awesome, fresh food and drinks! The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
