Very basic room with no amenities what so ever. No mini fridge, microwave, or coffee maker, and no water offered to the guests. Where are you supposed to keep your drinks cold during your stay? Beach view but too expensive $85 US! for spartan room. Better offers around town.

Service was extremely friendly and the view was amazing. It was really easy to make reservations from their Facebook page. Love that feature. The resturant was immaculate and the bathrooms were spotless too. The drinks were great and the food was good. I can't wait to come back and try their breakfast.

Clean, staff was helpful, in a decent more quiet and secluded area, but with plenty of shops and even a supermarket directly across the street.

The hotel is a bit run down, especially for the price which they are asking. The receptionist was not helpful not all, I asked a couple of questions about restaurants and his reply was always the same "I don't know". On the plus side, it's is located right on the beach & has a small outdoor swimming pool.

Everything is great, but the fact that they gave us a room right above the restaurant made it to noisy and shaky and my baby was trying to sleep. Windows need to be tighter so wind does not move them and does not let you sleep.

This place offers nothing but a room to sleep which would be just fine if the competition in town didn’t offer a lot better deal for the same money. By better deal I mean a room with a fridge, hairdryer, coffeemaker or coffee in the foyer for those who wake up early, a phone to call room service OR Airbnb’s that offer a complete kitchen where you can store and make your food, soft beds, etc. CONS The hotel is a run down. There’s no fridge, hairdryer, coffeemaker or room service to call. There’s no towel hanger in the bathroom even! I had to hang my towels on the door knobs. The built is very old, has huge gaps around the entrance door and the balcony door is NOT insulated which causes drafts and when the balcony door is closed the wind wails in those gaps which sounds like a lawn mower outside your window. Now try to sleep with lawn mower outside your window. Winds here are non stop (I had a room on the third floor). Now about coffee. I wake up at 6am, can do nothing about it. The coffee shops in the area open at 7am the earliest, by Google. In reality they open closer to 8. No coffeemaker. No coffee in the foyer. The restaurant downstairs does not open till 8 am. So, if you’re like me, prepare to sit there hungry and without coffee until life in the down starts. In case you get a rainy day like I did, same thing. No room service to call, no one will bring you food or coffee. And to get to the restaurant downstairs you have to go OUTSIDE to cross the courtyard and then enter the door that leads to the restaurant or walk around the building in the rain. Not a biggie because it’s warm but not pleasant at all. The day I checked in the AC in the room didn’t work. That’s the only time that draft saved me. They fixed it quickly, thankfully. Speaking of AC, it blows directly on where the beds in the room are, so when you sleep it basically blows directly in your face. I did this for two days and had to move my bed to the other side of the room because my face was freezing at night. Also, beds are rock hard, nothing like other hotels I’ve been to, so be prepared. Another disadvantage but has nothing to do with the hotel and is seasonal - the sargassum sea. The entire shoreline was covered with wide brown strip of seaweed which absolutely ruins the experience of being there. Hotel doesn’t do a good job cleaning it but when they do, they pile it up in the lot next to the hotel and it stinks of rotten seaweed big time. Btw, bathrooms have window facing the corridor that everyone takes to get in the room, they are up high but you will hear people passing by which resembles a public restroom experience. Light in my bathroom was flickering like in horror movies and the light switch at the entrance of the room electrocuted me a little once. Good thing they have another one by the bed to switch it on and off. And last but not least, the restaurant downstairs will make noise till approximately 11 pm, so if you want to fall asleep early, you have no chances (no insulation in the windows, remember?) PROS Rooms with balconies overlooking the ocean. LOTS of restaurants in the area and the food is absolutely delicious wherever you go. I spent 4 days there and ate at a different place every time, including the restaurant downstairs (which is not the part of the hotel, btw). All served great food, some are more expensive than others but food was awesome everywhere. Close to the beach, nice restaurant patio and tables you can take right on the beach, supermarket across the street, local street market if you’re into souvenirs but they will constantly be inviting you to check their stuff whenever you pass by so I started making my routs to avoid passing them.

I stayed there for 5 days & loved it. The only thing I think the room needed was a small refrigerator but still wasn't a deal breaker. Location is great if u like to be among the local people. Restaurants around the area are also good.
