★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely despicable service, hidden fees not shown on the website ("necessary" insurance was more than the car itself?!) with surcharges at the end too even though we returned in pristine condition. Nothing was explained in Spanish or English that remotely suggested what would happen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They refused to honor our reservation at a lower price . Then they kept trying to scam me into buying car insurance almost as much as the cost of the rental. When I mentioned my credit card covers it, he said it will be a $5000 deposit. I agreed to it, but he pretended that two of my credit cards were declined. I called the credit card companies and they said there was no attempt to charge the card and I am good to use the card in Mexico.
We ended up going to Budget rental adjacent to it and everything worked out well. Including the credit cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BE CAREFUL The people here will rip you off in one way or another. Very dishonest people and company. They make up stuff to make you pay more.
I used to be a customer of Hertz for long time and it is very sad to see how they lost all their values.
If you still go and rent, I will please ask you to write a review afterwards so more people can be WARNED

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scam, bait and switch. We had book a car online only to learn on checkin day we would need to pay close to 4 times more on checkin day. They even give much better price if you don’t have a reservation. Very disappointed that Hertz is doing to shady tactics, especially they were far from being the cheapest online.

Don’t let them sell you extras.
Use your credit card (chase reserve) for car insurance they will cover anything that happens to the car. Don’t let them talk you into 80$ usd for insurance. They will try and scare you out of not taking insurance by calling you crazy and other names. I had to repeat over and over I do not want any insurance only the free they offer and no extras. After agent got mad at me several times he finally made the rental happen just like I wanted no extras and no insurance from them.
Also at gas stations the gas attendants will try to cheat you out of gas and money. Pay attention and tell them how much money to fill up or they will try and charge you 50$ usd for a smidge of gas. (Also a situation I had to argue about and got my money back since they tried to cheat me on gas)
BEAWARE?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place at all costs. Arrived to pick up my reserved car and was told the optional insurance was "mandatory" to the tune of 505 usd, more than twice the actual cost of rental. Apparently this is commonplace at this location. Went with a different local provider and had a wonderful experience at a fraction of that price.
