★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our expirience was AMAZING. Luis, the owner, was so welcoming and and attentive. He makes great recommendations on where to go and what to do within the area. Also, they lend you bikes and you can visit 2 incredible archeological sites - Becan and Chicanná - very close to Casa Maya. The food is delicious, all the ingredients are from the region and the cuisine is autochthonous and delightful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I reckon one of the better hotels in the area. No hotels are allowed closer to calakmul so it will still take you 2 hrs to get there. We had some issues with our room on the first night as it was leaking left right and centre so got an upgrade on the second night. If you want something specific here ensure you speak Spanish, the staff are super helpful otherwise. Bring mosquito spray. Loads of it as dining is outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favorite place we stayed at during our entire trip in the Yuctan. Set in a small, quiet town this boutique hotel contains a lovely garden and is conveniently located just down the street from the Mayan ruins of Becan. Staff was friendly, room was well done and food served was good. However given that there is not much to do in the area one night felt like just the right amount of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome discovery. We were very please to find these gem in the jungle, the architecture of the suite is the one of the mayan buildings and very well decorated. the staff very educated. They have the basics for a 4 rooms hotel. Don't expect an extensive wine list but be happy they have better than the rest on the zone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though in the photos the place looks great, it’s not accurate with the reality. The place needs maintenance. Also, besides all the fixtures the rooms need, the shampoo and even the hand soap could be filled out every time a guest arrives. This just shows lack of hospitality specially during a pandemic where soap is a must.

We book a suit with balcony but they gave us the one above the kitchen, no balcony, uncomfortable bed and pillows (no chance to change for other pillows), we asked about the suit and the person who attend us said many people have had the same problem with the “suit with balcony” the only answer was : call the administration ( for everything ) no bottles of water to drink in the room. I have one more star for the AC. I think is time to replace the curtains too. Booked for two nights but left after the first day.
