Hotel El Caballo Blanco - 77940 Mahahual

I've been coming to this particular hotel for 5 years. The view, the food , the Spanish and Mayan history are compelling, as well as the snorkeling. The people at this hotel are fantastic.

Hotel Caballo Blanco is in such a great location. The owner, Tina, is really amazing and a wealth of knowledge; no matter what you want to do or where you want to go, she has the best recommendations. The rooms are beautiful with great views and the rooftop pool is VERY ROMANTIC! :) Very clean and the whole staff is really great! I have spent many hours on the deck/reception area listening and learning all about Mahahual and Mexico... Tina's commitment to the community is not only inspiring but also evident by the number of people that come by every day to chat and say hello. The excellence of the hotel is evident by the number of repeat guests she has!

My stay here was amazing. ? The hotel, the beds are so comfortable, the views from this hotel are breathtaking. I recommend this hotel and i would stay here again. Alejandro was so attentive and very friendly person. Mahahual beautiful place!

Well what can i say that already has not been said. I will start with our arrival. We arrived at the Hotel at between 8:30pm and 9:00pm and Tina (hotel owner) was waiting for us at her reception area, and the first thing she did was welcome us with open arms. I knew at that moment our stay at her hotel would be very comfortable and inviting. Our room was clean, and everything we needed was there. The roof top pool and ocean view is fantastic. The hotel is only yards from the beach Tina supplies her guest beach towels and with bottled water. (who does that these days) The WiFi connection was great, air conditioned rooms, a mini refrigerator, coffee maker and coffee. I was just blown away with every thing this boutique Hotel has to offer. (i have stayed at other boutique hotels and do not offer what this hotel does) Tina is the Best, The Hotel is the best, her staff is the best, and when you leave, one really has that feeling of knowing that you had a getaway, and all you can think of is when will i return for more. All i know is i will be back and Tina is now a friend for life.!!!!! My Photo is from our room.

Great stay at Caballo Blanco in January! Easy to find as it is in middle of town on Malecon/Beach. Parking easy enough as well. there is reserved lot a block away but we always found good spots just behind hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are large and well appointed and beds some of comfiest in town. Tina the owner is also always around the offer help on restaurants or activities. Nice thing too is great restaurant next door that bring food/beverage to you on the beach..and a great dive store and ice cream shop next to hotel as well. What more do you want?

Feels like home! Alejandro and the housekeeper are very helpful and attentive. Since it is a small hotel the service it’s the best, clean rooms, best location, beachfront space for hotel guests so no need to pay for beach clubs... We will definitely come back and recommend it to everybody.

Another amazing stay at our favourite hotel in Mahahaul! Tina takes great care to make sure her guests have a wonderful stay - very clean and safe. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Mahahaul!
