★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old well cup kept up hotel right near the marketplace and the plaza. Very colonial kitchy decor with pool rooms were very very inexpensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth it. A lot of rooms don't have windows to the outside, only ones facing a dark hallway, and are very dated. We were stuck in one such room and decided to upgrade to the suite instead. While better, it also faces a hallway the light from which illuminated our room all night. It has a balcony, but the view is not great -- overlooking the flat roof of the pantry below. We also had the distinct suspicion that the pillowcases in the suite are likely not always washed between guests as they're the same material as the cover sheet as opposed to the white linen you'd expect. To top it all off the hot water was not functioning in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was okay, given its price and location. It is by no means a bad hotel.
Upsides:
- Location: five minutes by foot from the central plaza.
- Price: about 40$/night.
- Parking: private parking nearby.
Downsides:
- Room: small room, which is ok, but the size of the bed is not what you expect from a 2-person bed. (You can make it work though...)
- Facilities: no hairdryer. Bad wifi.
- Breakfast: limited, but sufficient. No water or tea, only coffee or orange juice. Kuddo's for the chocolate cake.
PS. They did some cool towel art!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price-quality wise, this hotel is a good option. Great location, it's literally 2 blocks away from the main square and from Cenote Zaci (which we didn't visit).
The hotel has a really nice, colonial style, but the bed was rather small for 2 people. Wifi connection was terrible. A bit old, but very clean.
Breakfast was basic, yet the portion was more than large enough and they were happy to give some extra slices of cake when we asked for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice furniture design hotel, but rooms facility and furniture are poor. Swimming pool was dirty. There is no fridge in the room, television not working very well, bathroom need reconstruction, so many flys in the room. This is not enough for 4 star hotel. Poor breakfast. It's like staret befor really breakfast which you have to take somewhere. The coffee in the room was very delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice fair priced hotel. Water was hot, air conditioning was cold, rooms were on the small size, but beds were comfortable. Common area with soaking pool was nice as well. Pay in cash, no credit cards.
