★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room 5 has a big issue with the AC which make a lot of noise after 3min on. When I aware the staff, they didn't believe first and swift off the AC. The noise reappear 3 min later and I had to aware the staff again, this time they wait for around 5min in my room to notice it.. And actually give me another room... Not really professional but friendly at least.. I can't really recommend this hotel for now.
And not a really good speed WiFi connection by the way.. And bad breakfast..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice and authentic hotel, very close to the centre. The owner, the family, were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was fresh and absolutely sufficient. A great place if you want to spend a few days in Valladolid.

The hotel is small but conveniently located and it has its own parking lot. Only thing I missed was a wardrobe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and clean hotel, hotel room and service was very nice. Breakfast was fresh, but small and only sweet, no cold drinks only Coffee for breakfast. Bad score is because of really noisy room - we were in room no.7, staff were cleaning terrace and were very noisy every day at 6 am and 9:30 pm, somebody asked for early breakfast, which is ok, but not, when they have breakfast at 6:30 am next to your room window. Unbeliaveable was the staff at 10 PM was knocking our door and asked when we want breakfast. If you want to have a quiet room, do not choose this one. If noise do not bother you, the hotel is near centre and Good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unassuming little hotel in the center of Valladolid. Rooms are small, but just fine for a 1-2 nigh stay. Not a very comfortable bed, but passable. Staff was courteous. If YOU'RE driving from Cancun beware of toll road that is oppressively expensive ($18USD) and only takes pesos. About 35-45 min to Chichén Itzá.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean rooms, very helpful personnel. I had a flat tire and they did everything they could to sort it out with the rental company via phone. Very centrally located, the main square (cathedral) is three minutes away; the convent is 1km on foot. We felt safe at all times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Hotel Real Colonial for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Conveniently located a 5-min walk from the main square, the building has a very lovely vibe, with its yellow walls and little roof top terrace decorated with plants and colourful vases. Our room was spacious, with a very wide king size bed, TV and a very neat bathroom with powerful shower. There is a wide car park just next to the hotel which is handy if you are travelling by car. Our room was facing the street, which was a bit loud in the morning, and generally the curtains do not do enough to shield from the powerful Mexican morning light, but that’s an easy fix with earplugs and eye mask. WI-FI is available, enough to browse and search for things on the Internet, although not super strong and not very stable.
