Wow! The staff here were so kind. I forget the lady's name who helped us but she gave us a huge tour of the place, told us all the best spots to see and to eat and where to buy produce. The room was very clean and big with a lot of storage, there was always purified water available as well as coffee and tea all day long. Lastly the rooftop was really a nice added bonus. Beautiful place for a great price in a gorgeous city.

Very clean hotel, and is family friendly. They provide free coffee and wifi. There is a nice gym too.

Clean, comfortable and spacious. A landmark building near everything Centro. Street-side rooms can be a little noisy from buses - on the other hand, those same buses make it one of the easiest hostels to get to by public transport. Pretty much any bus marked Centro via Ty Palacios will get you within 100 metres if not at the front door. Has the potential to be one of the best hostels in Mexico when "normality" returns. Kitchen facilities are inadequate, however, so don't go buying a week's worth of groceries or planning marathon "master chef" sessions. Presumably there will be a cook providing meals once things resume. I gather from past reviews there were numerous kitchens previously. This appears not to be the case now. There is one on the top floor. It's basically a one- or two-person kitchen at best. There are literally dozens of places to eat economically within two blocks though, not the least of which is the second-floor bar (Rey de Oros) right across the road: soup, choice of three entrés, vegetables, rice, beans, tortillas, drink and dessert for 70 pesos. Maybe try that.

I stayed at Andraina for something like 8 days, and it was nothing but wonderful. Clean & soft sheets, bathrooms cleaned multiple times a day, and the common areas were so inviting and relaxing.

Large clean room, comforty bed, decent pillows. Building is over 4 floors, lots of space out of your room for relaxing, co-working, 360 view on terrace. Very clean throughout including bathrooms. Kitchen okay, time to update the gym equipment and increase sun loungers.

Very cheap hostel with tons of communal space and a large rooftop which I nearly missed. I found as a lone traveler it was very quiet and not much atmosphere but that was how it was when I was there. If you want space, quiet and comfortable this is a good hostel. The WiFi isn’t so good be warned and the building echos a lot!

This place has definitely made my stay in Oaxaca very comfortable! The staff is amazing, the place is very spacious and you have different quiet rooms where you can chill or work. The mini gym is perfect for a workout or stretch and the kitchen is always clean. In fact the entire hostel is super clean as the staff cleans the common areas multiple times during the day. I thank all the staff for their help and friendliness and I'm sure I'll stay there again If I'm back in Oaxaca city.

Very nice hostel. Well kept, huge amount of space in common areas, very helpful staff, refill water. Terraces and even a basic gym... It was not a 5 star for me as the water was barely warm when we were there.
